After weeks of intense competition online and off, the UK's big FIFA Interactive World Cup finale takes place tonight in London. And we'll be there.
The venue: A swish Cuban-themed bar in the heart of London's Soho. The event: All those FIFA 09 wunderkinds who've proved themselves worthy in online and regional live qualifiers across the country will compete for a berth at the Global Final in Barcelona in May.
Some of the country's top FIFA players will be there, including the likes of Chris Bullard, who actually earns his keep playing the game. Competition will be very fierce indeed.
Almost as fierce as the competition to touch flesh with some of the English Premier League's top football stars. Arsenal superstar Emmanuel Adebayor is tipped for an appearance, amongst others.
And also in attendance will be, well, us.
EA SPORTS Football World be on the scene tracking the leading contenders and providing full reports after the event. We'll also be thrusting microphones at them in the hope they can arrest the flow of adrenaline long enough to share a few words for the weekly FIFA 09 podcast (get that in iTunes here).
On top of all that, we'll be Twittering photos live from the event whenever we get a chance to get the camera out and point it at something interesting.

All this action in the UK follows similar FIFA Interactive World Cup finals in the last few days in Switzerland and Italy. Mergim Sadriji, aged 16, took the Swiss crown, while 19-year-old Daniele D'Alterio conquered all-comers in Rome.
