NCAA Football 10: Gameplay camera presentation updates

Posted On: Mar. 19, 2009 7:52 AM EST By: raczilla 40 Comments

This year we were able to convert our gameplay cameras to a new system that can be tuned by the designers on the team while playing the game.  The benefit to this is we now have the ability to prototype new camera angles quickly and see how we can make your view of the game even better and more dynamic.

One aspect of the new tech is the camera’s ability to frame all of your receiver options on-screen as much as possible.  What we do is have the camera behave like a turret on your head and as you and the receivers move on the field the camera will focus at a calculated point on the field (called a proxy target) that will give you the best vantage point.  We are able to add weights on the calculation that can force the camera to pay more attention to the QB’s location, the receivers, or even the player going out for the screen pass.  In addition, we can lock this point to be a set distance from the line of scrimmage so that its location keeps a steady position instead of flying up, down, and all over the field as your receivers move in real time.

Using this proxy target can really open up your ability to read the coverage on the play and make an educated decision on which player to pass the ball.  And if there are no options available, you’ll be able to determine if you should tuck the ball and scramble.  Also, we’ll be paying attention to how this benefits/burdens the defense’s perspective as well and update the camera’s placement and proxy target weights accordingly.  The camera is a work in progress at this point, but you can see some examples of things we’ve can do with this new system.

In addition, we are also able to create dramatic camera angles for some of the areas of the game.  One example of this would be during kickoffs.  With the new system we are able to cut from one camera to another and create some really interesting transitions.  For instance, we can fly down to the ball on the kick off and create some great shots that weren’t necessarily easy to do on the old system.  Also, when the ball is in the air we can give you a better view of it coming into your return man as well as show if someone is flying down a lane untouched.

Lastly, this new system has given us the ability to implement another feature that has been requested by the community a number of times.  However, we’re not quite ready to announce what it is, so stay tuned…

-Greg Heddlesten

P.S.:  You’ve probably noticed the passing icons are somewhat transparent in the images.  New to NCAA Football 10 is the hiding of the passing icons as you run further from the line of scrimmage.  If you are looking to run 20 yards backwards and launch a crazy arcade-like pass, we hope you memorized the routes your receivers are running and their assigned button on the controller.  Otherwise, you could end up throwing into double/triple coverage and giving the ball away.

For more information on NCAA Football 10, check out Greg Heddlesten's interview on ESPN.com.

I like the addition of the transparent icons as you move farther away from the line of scrimmage, but why not make the WR icons disappear at 20 yards? or only make the QB to be able to throw to guys that are closer to him.  The transparency or lack of passing icons should also work if a QB rolls to the other side of the field.  Meaning if there is a fly route being run on the left and the QB scrambles to the right, that WR icon on the left shouldn't even show up or at the very least be transparent.  Can't wait to discuss this with you guys Friday.

Wow, NCAA Football really IS Madden's little brother.  The only, and I mean ONLY thing NCAA has on Madden right now is online dynasty.  And if Madden offers online franchise this year, I'm not even wasting 60 bucks on a game that I'll only play for a month.  NCAA gameplay sucks compared to Madden.  You can tell where EA Sports puts the most money.

  • remington_steal said March 19, 2009

Interesting, though I hope that whatever adjustments are made to camera angles/movements have the ability to be turned off. I'm not saying getting receivers on-screens a bad thing (nothing's more frustrating than chucking it on a prayer on an out route...), but I'd hate to sacrifice the ability to read seams in kick returns for "interesting transitions."

  • nepeco said March 19, 2009

I've said it before, but PLEASE please please make this game available in Europe.

  • Spartan117 said March 19, 2009

what's the different between this game and last years game?

  • ghettomafia said March 19, 2009

Look at the crowd, the sidelines  this is  first generation stuff  there is no college atmosphere at all. College football has the most energy in the stadiums then any sport.   EA LOOK AT THE CROWDS IN NBA2K9, MLB 09 THE SHOW HELL EVEN MLB 2K9 THE CROWD IS RESPONDING TO THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY!!! I mean when you guys are emplementing new stuff in your games does anyone there notice how lame the crowds and sidelines look and respond to the gameplay. as for the camera angles how about a custom camera I have a 51 inch tv and I still feel like the players are to small I have to zoom past 16:9 ratio just to get closer to the action on the field

  • southernmissfan2 said March 19, 2009

please fix the football field logos if i put southern miss in the sec and they have the c-usa logos im gone go nuts. and southern miss has added luxury boxes and a few seats in the south endzone i hope u add that this year and the there arent that many trees around there its in the middle of hattiesburg. trees are only on the east side the way u put em there is a few all around but not as much as you guys put there. there needs to be some kind of training like on madden besides spring training. use espn and create something like nfl networks college football now. and have a halftime show showing scores of the day. players that arent on your pipeline make it were u cant recruit them if your a 3 prestige or lower school i had air force steal my number one prospect

  • southernmissfan2 said March 19, 2009

the crowds needs to be more realistic they just sit there jumpin up and down the whole game and when it counts they are extremely quiet

  • pharaoh_00 said March 19, 2009

Everything looks great, I hope you have the new player momentum thats going to be in Madden.  I would also like to suggest throwing styles for QB's and running styles for all players.  Most QB's like McCoy at Texas have the pro-style motion and I think this would be the standard for most QB's.  Bradford has an over the top flick motion which is also common. Tebow as a mid level wind up, Jimmy Clausen at Notre Dame has a high release and throws it with his full arm extended in front. Most QB's have a variation of these motions so you would only need a few maybe 15-20 and it would make the game stand out.  Also runnings styles for all players, you have a Terrelle Pryor and most taller players, with long strides. Joe McKight and smaller players with quick steps, bigger running backs and defensive players knees high power running.  I think if I use Terrelle Pryor as an example, you get his throwing style or something close to it, with his running style it will make an already great looking game look even better.  After that just better defensive play and last but not least update the cleats to the black and white ones almost every team has and NCAA 10 will be great.

  • Ridikulas said March 19, 2009

The kickoff action shot is one of the few times in the game that you are zoomed in close on the players. With that in mind, you should do your absolute best to make these few moments absolutely gorgeous and realistic. You really need to wow us during the kickoffs with graphics that are flawless. You need to make sure that every move the kicker makes is as realistic as possible. Looking at the image above of the Gator kicking, it looks like you still need work. Maybe grab the physics for the kick from FIFA. If you start the game off with a kicker that looks fake, it's going to take a little out of the mood of the game. So do your best to make it as realistic as possible.

  • CLeep3 said March 19, 2009

This sounds similar to the "action" camera Madden apparently put in last year (even though it doesn't work and it's impossible to see WR's in the flat).  Is this new camera idea being implemented into Madden NFL 10?  Cause they really need to fix that issue.

  • deusmortuus said March 19, 2009

Greg, thanks for a more technical update. I agree that these pictures we're seeing right now don't look a whole lot different from what we got in last year's version, though.  Please tell me those aren't the player models we're going to be seeing.  As for ghettomafia's comment about the crowds, I agree that they need to be more active and louder than last year's, but these pictures don't really tell us anything, so I'm withholding judgement until I get to see the game in action.  I for one welcome the new camera angles if they're working as advertised.  Thanks again, guys.  =

I hope the new feature is the side view gameplay camera(-: I have been waiting for that feature in Madden NFL games as well. I keep asking ever year, but get no answer. I am waiting patiently and hope to hear that this will be one of the new additions to both games this year.

    It just has to be.

  • BM26 said March 19, 2009

I think that with the new PA system, the camera's angle should be tied into the QB's line of vision. In the first picture, the camera is focused to the left side of the field, but the QB is staring straight ahead, at NO BODY.

So, how about have the The camera slant to the side of the field the QB is actually looking at, or vice-versa. Just to make things more justified.

    Otherwise, it looks great.

  • mwa20000 said March 19, 2009

What is the deal with the B receiver for USC, he is wide open in all those pics, no one is within 10-20 yards of him. That first pic three of Florida's defenders are all on one side of the field looking at the QB and just standing there.

  • BM26 said March 19, 2009

B isn't open in Pic #2. There's a defender that's basically invisble behind him. (Count the Florida Players on the field, there are only 10, but if you closely, you can sort of see the 11th man hiding behind B.)

  • DePounded said March 19, 2009

I like these additions, but quite frankly, almost of all these were in Madden NFL 09 (ex. "Action Cam"). These additions will not compel me to buy the game--I need to see a lot more especially in terms of game play.  On pictures 2 & 3, it looks like once again there is no defensive coverage for the HB Slip Screen--a money play that every player abused in NCAA 09.  The lack of game play balance in NCAA 09 is a big concern for me.  Every game was a shootout, and it seemed like the person who won was always the person who had the ball last.  Please balance the game play for NCAA 10--make it positive to get to the QB, and increase defensive coverage--particularly on short passes.  Thanks for the update and I look forward to more updates.

  • buckswr7 said March 19, 2009

i really dont think these player models your seeing are gonna be the ones in the game. i mean seriously its almost 4 months until the game is released so they probably are just getting some gameplay style stuff down right now then gonna make the new player accessories, cleats, and helmets like i have been pushing for! Also i really agree with pharaoh_00 that there should be running styles and trowing styles. also i have said this before but i would like if you put in where ex. the oklahoma state cowboys look to the sideline after faking the snap to see if the coach wants to change the play this is how my high school team runs our O. Im the wide receiver and i change the plays cuz our QB doesn't know all the audibles to i would like to see either the QB or one of the WRs changing the play if the coach wants to and to see what play they want u to change it to a little box should show up at the top left hand corner showing the play name like in ncaa basketball 09 when the coach tells the team what to do. also i have said this a million times that i would like the new accessories like towels, one-sleeved under armour, wand warmers, the new cleats like the nike vapor jet 4.2 (which i wear) and the new ion helmets.

  • youngmeech said March 19, 2009

this has nothing to do with the camera angle but, what about white shoelaces for usc, this is part of the uniform and college football tradition it should be in the game

  • youngmeech said March 19, 2009

is florida going back 2 black cleats this year??

  • brewer1814 said March 20, 2009

In the first couple of madden blogs they mentioned that the gameplay changes they were making would also be in ncaa. The past couple of madden blogs about gameplay changes failed to mention if it would also be in ncaa. The second comment in the latest blog asked this very question but got no response. As bad as the gameplay is I would hope ncaa would be taking every gameplay improvement they could get their hands on. Could we please get some clarification? Thanks

  • Nef77 said March 20, 2009

here's a small idea for your campus legend. maybe you guys can take off the scoreboard and give a more intimate feel. if we want to look at the clock then put a presnap button to view the status of the game(time, score, down, etc.). when playing on the field we dont have a graphic showing us all these things. also, why can't my QB look to the flats or put a man in motion?

  • Nef77 said March 20, 2009

    youngmeech are you serious? shoelaces?

  • MMBDawg35 said March 20, 2009

If I can't see the entire field on a standard-width TV, it will be yet another disappointing year of next-gen football offerings. I can't begin to tell you how many interceptions I've thrown to the blind side of the screen. It's an act of faith for me to throw certain patterns. It basically chops my playbook significantly. I thought Madden '09 would fix that, but neither camera angle worked for standard-width TV's. It's as if EA assumes everyone with a PS3 or 360 owns a wide-screen TV. Why can't we get the camera angles we got on the PS2 and XBox? There were multiple camera views, plus the option for a custom view. It'll be a huge disappointment to play another year with a reduced view of the field.

  • utahman19 said March 22, 2009

    1) Go with the 85 scholarship limit or cut down the scholarships from 25 to 15 or 20 per year. But go with the 85 scholarships.

    2) Improve the gameplay. Steal stuff from Madden. It's irritating that the two EA games are so different (and inferior in NCAA's case) to each other in terms of gameplay.

    3) Make it a college atmosphere. Fans storm the field after big upsets or emotional games (look at Utah in 2008, 3 times the fans stormed the field: after upsetting Oregon State on a last second field goal, after an emotional come-from-behind win over TCU, and after slobber-knocking BYU to clinch a BCS berth). Have the bands play some actual stuff besides just the school song. Crazy student sections taunting the opposition. "Chippy-ness" in rivalry games. Crowds getting involved with chants, booing iffy penalties, quieting down when their team is on offense, "block that kick", that kind of stuff. And don't have the home fans cheer when the visiting team has a good play or TD.

    4) Better overall playbooks. And the ability for me to mix-and-match from others to create my own.

    5) Add at least coordinators and make coaching attributes mean something. You can't use player names but is there any reason why you can't use real coaches and coach-specific attributes? Great recruiters, great teachers, great play-callers, motivators, etc.

    6) Revamp the kicking game. Add a LS rating to make it meaningful, a great LS makes perfect snaps most of the time, a poor LS will bounce it back or lob it 10 yards over the head of the holder/punter. Bring back the "fire" button to call off a FG is there is a bad snap. And a holder rating so that a good holder can handle bad snaps and what-not. This would add more realism and make special teams part of the game like it should be. Increase ability to block kicks, as many teams (Florida, Va Tech, Air Force to name three) make blocking kicks a key point. Make it more difficult to return kicks and punts. It's kind of boring to play a season and have my return man have 10+ return touchdowns. Punt coverage is especially poor. Special teams as a whole is sterile and boring. Maybe have kick accuracy and distance for FG's and PAT's be determined by a combination of the power attribute and using the right stick to determine where the ball is struck (kind of like onside kicks) instead of aiming and picking your power; hitting the ball lower puts more lift but cuts down on distance while hitting the ball high increases distance but also decreases angle and increases chance of getting the ball blocked at the line, especially with a poor or bobbled snap/hold. Have the accuracy attribute determine initial placement of cursor and how quickly or smoothly the cursor moves around the football so inaccurate and/or "non-clutch" kickers have a greater chance of mishitting it or taking more time and getting the kick blocked. Special teams is a huge part of college football, make it a huge part of NCAA football.

    7) Why is it that when I improve my non-BCS school enough to be consistently good, my academic prestige goes down? Let me emphasize academics and build it up. Especially if you re-introduce player conduct. Let me take preventative measures to decrease chances my stud recruit with questionable character doesn't get into academic or off-field trouble. Perhaps another way to add coaching attributes, role-models and player discipline.

    8) And when I get invited to a BCS conference, replace the MWC or WAC or C-USA on-field logos with PAC-10, Big 12, SEC, etc.

    Among other things.

  • utahman19 said March 22, 2009

    And allow multiple shits/motions.

  • russstwin1@hotmail.com said March 23, 2009

This is all fine and dandy, but when are you guys going to fix the nerfed pass rush? suction blocking? rocket catch? I love how EA absolutely REFUSES to fix anything that was wrong with their games in the first place and just covers it with new features and better graphics. Terrible QA

  • southernmissfan2 said March 23, 2009

i thing that there only two good additions so far custom conferences and wind socks but look at madden screenshot and then ncaa's what would u buy fix the graphics and the crowd this is not exactly the funnest additions

  • patroit1 said March 24, 2009

Yeah OK I get the camera stuff. But what about the actual GAME PLAY. Are they still going to allow 6'7" WR's who run 4.19 40's to be generated? What about defensive coverage on long bombs? And add a spectator mode so I can watch my friends' games.

  • JP STEEL said April 03, 2009

please let us see on line games while 2 other people are playing in spector mode remember EA if its in the game its inthe game coaches do scout other teams games either on film or at a live game.

  • BJAlex15 said April 08, 2009

Great game. This game CRAPS on MADDEN YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT. However:

    1) Crowd generator needs to be alot better. Look at how 2K does things. Its simply amazing. I feel like I'm at the Arena when Im playing NBA 2K9. Simply amazing. In order to be amazing, you will need to AT LEAST mimic the crowd.

    2) If you look at your "Family" at NCAA Basketball 09, they have the McDonalds All American Game. Guess what? NCAA Football doesn't have this.Do you know how cool it is to be able to play with those players? To be able to play with High School superstars who are going to be in College sports next year? Simply amazing. BRING IN THE U.S ARMY HIGH SCHOOL ALL AMERICAN GAME. Allow to see the top players in action before they go to the next level. That would be awesome.

3)More creation possibilities. TATTOS, HAIR STYLES, !!!HAIR STYLES!!!, Equiptment selections. You know how many helmets exist? Do you? ALOT. More than what you give us. Bring in some more gear to choose from. Facemasks, Helmets, Cleats, and even under equiptment like girdles and rib cages, EVERYTHING TO MAKE THIS THING FEEL REAL. I play college football so I know about it all, I'm hungry to see you guys mimic the way I feel on Saturdays after lacing up my cleats and getting ready.

    4) You have ESPN rights...USE THEM. SHEEEESH. Make the presentation like ESPN Presentation. Someone said earlier," We don't care if you copy off of 2K5, that's what we want." You guys presentation is better than Madden's but could be better.

    5) Make the injury stuff realistic please. Bring out the cart, ambulance, trainers, everything...make it real. How do we know the injury and the extent of the injury so soon? Is that real? I mean really, is that how you think it is in football? Oh...NO NOT AT ALL. FIX IT PLEASE.

6)Ofcourse, Zebras on the field, Security people (Keep in mind, college football has like police sheriffs and stuff.), Vendors.... I MEAN REALLY BRING THE STADIUM TO LIFE.

    7) Bands would be nice... They don't play the same song OVER and OVER in real life. Do something about that.

8)Did I mention more custimization options? HELMETS, FACEMASKS, HAIR STYLES, TATTOOS, CLEATS, GIRDLES, SOCKS, I MEAN FROM HEAD TO TOE.

Other than that, the game is cool. Definitely urinates on Madden. BUT IN ORDER TO REACH GREATNESS, IMPROVEMENTS MUST BE MADE.

  • BJAlex15 said April 08, 2009

U.S ARMY HIGH SCHOOL ALL AMERICAN GAME

BETTER CUSTIMIZATION CHOICES. (HAIR TATTOOS HELMETS FACEMASKS RIBCAGES GIRDLES)

BETTER CROWD (I PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND PRETTY UPSET THAT THE SAME ENERGY I FEEL ON SATURDAYS, SUCKS IN THE GAME)

OTHER THAN THAT YOU GOOD. BUT I WANT GREATNESS.

  • Nactown said April 09, 2009

I hope you guys give us the option of hanging a banner in your stadium on dynasty mode when you win a National chapionship or a confrence title this would be nice especialy in the online dynasty mode just think of how you could intemidate your online opponents when they play at your stadium and see the three national titles you just won in a row. I think that would be sweet. and I know you guys have a lot of stuff to work on but please if you can give the user more control over the team uniform at least let us pick what sock length and color and what shoe color That would be great. Please fix the face mask on the revo helmets they are entirely to farfrom the face and they look hidious. and please give us some kind of team entrance even if its generic because going straight to the coin toss is about as bland as it gets. Thanks guys I love the game can't wait to play it

  • Rashaad5 said April 09, 2009

Yea like BJ said I would love to play the Al American game and be able to play with some players I plan on recruiting and see if they fit my schools style of play

I would also love having the senior bowl & have back the Corso prediction at pregame to increase your urge to upset the team

also have the team entrances and have the ratings mean something I hate d2 schools catching over All Americans

Have speed matter less in 09 if you have fast players you would most likely win the game, be able to create plays in your playbook and put in more trick plays

Injuries, please give us something like what madden has

have national signing day in dynasty in a cutscene and in campus legend to make it more exciting and be able to transfer schools if you don't like the school anymore

More celebrations they made the game more exciting and have autosave so I don't have to save manually

    Visually

    - more player faces and hair

    - teams equipment should match the brand of their uniforms, you see adidas schools with nike visors

    - most players usually wear gloves a couple of years into the dynasty its less and less

    - visors fitting on revolution face masks, revolution facemasks are too low and too far from the face

also have training camps & the spring games

In dynasty, have the broadcast team know statistics and performance in context. Are you in first place in the conference? Last place? Is your RB leading the conference in rushing? Is the team you're playing in the top 20 in passing defense? I want to know about it!

Actually making CPU QB's throw away the ball. This would be factored into awareness. High awareness throws away the ball, low awareness doesn't

The ability to suspend players again & have coachs fired they do badly for a number of years

    Create a School & have d2 schools

In Create a Recruit - If I make a four star QB from Cincinnati, OH...Please, please, Pleeeaaassseee make The Bearcats at least one of the top 10 schools he's looking at. I understand a five-star not wanting to go to a small school, but atleast give me a chance at a four star

Bring back the "Sports Illustrated" style write ups that was in the first gen, I know I am not the only one who wanted to see if their team made the weekly cover of the SI and all other write ups for the week.

The time of day change and filed wear and tear during the football game

I want to see the sleeves to from the shoulders to the elbow & have players wear only one sleeve

Injured players should get carted off the field

Make the pass camera show the whole field I hate playing db & being caught over because the WR is out of camera range

Have the drills like forty on 10 but make them easier like pressing two buttons

    Create a Stadium

Ability to edit uniforms using current and historic color schemes and logos as templates, also with the ability to add/remove pride stickers and add/remove names on the backs of jerseys. This should also include the ability to change the shoe colors.

    Referees/chain gang on field

Ability to choose captains and have them appear for the coin toss

Physics. Momentum needs to be a bigger part of this game. Beanie Wells is running down hill through the middle of the field, when he is just demolished by a 165 corner. Not because the corner went low, he went high

Give us the ability to create ATHs for recruits.

Running styles. There is no difference watching a speed RB and a power. They run the exact same way. Even if there are only 3 styles, please.

Field-make the field get tore up and better textures(Madden 09)

Pontiac Game Changer of The Week where you can vote from 5

Game Breakers-updates of different games after each quarter

    Better Announcing

Halftime Highlights expanded-Run threw the top 25 action and highlights from your current game

    Pre Game Warmups

    Camera Flashes

    Marching Bands During the game

Weather Progression-light rain to heavy rain(same with snow),When they call thunderstorms lighting and thunder should happen sometimes, day to night,Clear game to drizzles or flurries,etc..

    On field fights

If it's an ankle, we'd have ankle braces and tape that couldn't be removed for the duration of the injury and would probably stay on as a safety precaution.

We'd need neoprene knee sleeves, shoulder braces, knee braces, ankle braces, and that would mostly cover it.

    create a logo

Have More player customization like dreads & the right haircuts

Ability to choose pants and jerseys separate at the uniform select screen, and allow us to see what the uniform looks like before we enter the game

weak the way in which the dynasty mode determines the Heisman winner

showing a player put his helmet on while on the sideline, preparing to go in for an injured teammate

post-play cutscene showing a player putting his helmet back on after it came off from a big hit; how about bringing those back

showing a recently de-helmeted player running down a QB

Have the recruits come to your college & put on size over the years to make it more realistic instead of them staying the same size & have size matter somewhat

Have different rating like QB accuracy under pressure & Rb ability under pressure

I have no idea why teams with 6 stars like USC, Miami, Florida State, and Texas are chasing after 2-3 star prospects instead of these prospects falling into their laps.

f you want to know about a prospect's strengths/weaknesses, then you schedule a scouting visit to THEM and you get their game statistics plus a brief scouting report from your team's scout that unlock a few rating grades. The user could even choose which ratings the scout should look for similar to the way we choose which pitches to talk about in campus visits.

Be able to see recruit highlight(most likely won't happen)

Custom Mascots - Allow Create-A-Team users to create their own mascot as opposed to having to use a current team's mascot. It can be as elaborate as player creation (which would be cool)

Custom Stadium Sounds - A great feature in '09, but let's expand on it. Allow us to create playlists for each event and then have the sounds executed randomly. While I enjoy hearing a particular song when scoring a touchdown or sacking the QB, some diversity would be nice.

Have Custom Celebrations for certain events or pressing a button makes you do a celebration but have the officials enforce the rules and penalize me for it.

Coach Legend Mode - A game mode I thought could be entertaining would be to have a coaching career mode. You could set it up in a similar fashion as Campus Legend. You would start off as a high school head football coach in control of offense and defense. At the conclusion of your first season, you would get the opportunity to coach at several small colleges as an offensive or defensive coordinator. You would only control offense or defense until additional job opportunities open up. Maybe you'll get a head coaching job right away for a small college, or maybe you'll get a promotion at a larger school as offensive or defensive coordinator - it's really whatever you want to do. You could decide you want to stay at a small program and build it into a powerhouse or you could choose to wait for a big time program to come calling. Dynasty mode with a coaching twist.

The pics look great!  As with my other posts, I would like to keep it ON topic!

I think the idea of transparent passing icons is fantastic.  It also stops guy from cheesing!

Since your talking about camera angles.  How about something that will allow you to see the entire field on D?  If I'm a LB or S and I'm covering a HB in man, if he shoots to the left or right outside of the screen, I just cross my fingers he didn't take off without me.

I hope they fix the Ai pass coverage ability, I mean I play on Varsity and I never have any help what so ever on my pass coverage. I can stop them on my own on 1st and 2nd down, but then the CPU just calls an overload on wideouts and I end up seeing at the last second a guy wide open 2 yards from the sideline with 3 guys jsut standing there lookign at the QB. They really need to improve on the defensive awareness level and make them automatically stay on the guy their assigned to, not make you have to audible every single play to tight coverage.

Please fix, otherwise game is great

I think there should be a Senior Bowl, or even an All American Game for the college kids, because that would be cool for campus legend, and even in dynasties, because it would be another major accomplishment for your team, not just your bowl game.

Also, I hope you guys added a view from the side, like on TV, that would be cool..

utahman19 is right about everything, but especially correct about storming the field. C'mon, guys. It NEEDS to be in the game!!!
