  Thanks for posting that tid-bit of info, greatly appreciated. So let's get to the meat and potatoes. We all know Defense wins championships. My friends and i all have the same gripe. When a defender is protecting his basket. Let's get the use of him putting his hands straight up, to make any shot attempt alot more difficult. Only a special few would ever get a basket to score in that interaction. There is no need for the shot blocking, on a point guard at 6'3 or shorter, a taller player should just be able to place his hands straight up to contest the shot. Our 2nd insight in LIVE 09/10, please install some type of "Put back Dunk","Tip in Dunk, or tip-ins", for alot of players in the league that aren't powerhouse scoring machines, like Lebron, and Kobe, tip-ins are a huge part of their game, since there aren't many plays called for them; And lastly, let's have a turbo button that actually looks, act, and feels like turbo/sprint.   the shot signature is ok but the problem with live vs 2k da real concept of nba basketball. Live gameplay hasnt been real it always been arcade like gameplay. The defense is never solid u need lockdown feature especially defenders like bruce bowens. Also, new dunks new crossovers with the right stick and passing as well. Nba live 2009 was a way better improvement but i still went with 2k da realism of nba basketball n there gameplay. Also add a online dynasty in da future nobody hasnt ever done it but it would b hard to do but it would make a diff with u n da competition cause leagues r alright but just like madden it needs a online dyn.

  this is gonna be different and it sounds really cool! im a spurs fan and duncan has a high arc and mostly hits those banks shots. parker has a high floating tear drop that would be cool to add, and a mid range arc shot not too high, not too flat. manu has sort of a flat shot "like" kobe. mason and bonner have that rainbow shot, very high arc, oh and finley too. this is a great touch for the game, very smart EA keep it up!

  i boosted up some key areas in all the player's attributes and my live 09 plays exxxtreme fantastic. waaaayyy better then 2k9. and i hav both. like crowds in 2k9 and arena atmosphere, but never understood how it was thought to b soooo much better than Live. that wack default baseline angle is what made Live fall off 4 a few installments but it was always better than 2k joints. hands down

  that sounds like a great addition, but also in live 09, 99 percent of every jumpshot hit all net....no toilet bowls....back irons...or rattling around the rim or even bank shots, u could tell if the shot was going in or not right when the player released it...another thing is i think the user needs to be able to have controll over the release of the shot, quick or late, like live in the past on current gen.for instance i should be able to travel if i pressed and held the shot button without releasing it.i could hold the shot button without releasing it and the player would still release the ball at the same time he would as if i had did a pefect release at the top of the jumper...

  yea, but the fact is this is where live should have been back in 2005. when nba live 06 was released, every customer was dissapointed with the stripped down game. the same thing that you had done with madden in madden 06.

  I seriously believe that you should have gone 2k's route back in 2005 and just ported the old-gen games to next-gen. then you could have slowly improved the game to bring it up to next-gen standards year by year. and right now both nba live and madden would have been better games because of it. Madden 2005 was probably the greatest madden game every made, and the review showed it. Then 06, 07 and 08 were all stripped down versions with small improvements that didn't change the game at all. same goes for nba live.

  The only game systems I have is the PC (duh) and a wii,pllzzzz make NBA live 10 for pc,bcause the wii graphics plain-out suck,and 08 isnt that great either,but thats what patches are for?

  anyways i will buy NBA for years to come as long as I can.btw-2k is ok but to many problems with loading-for all those ppl who say 2k is better than NBA

  most of these are 'features' already seen in the NBA 2K series. I bought 2K9 this past year and it was the best basketball game I've played EVER. It may have its flaws, but it still was head and shoulders above what I've experienced with LIVE. And I was most definitely a LIVE fan from the way back when. Dating back to Lakers vs Celtics and the NBA Playoffs. When superstars had signature moves and there was a halftime show of sorts. LIVE 05 was the last game I purchased from EA's basketball franchise. I hope there is something revolutionary that may make me take another look at the franchise again. How about realistic layups that don't end up directly in front of the basket but rather to the side of the rim?? How about 'real' fast breaks?? How about the ability to block out and working for the rebound?? What about manually selecting the type of pass you do(bounce pass to the low post, no-look on the fast break, chest pass to the open man on the wing)?? What about different dunks for different types of players??? Why not have non-superstars become a factor???

  How about some fantasy team downloads, Da Bulls, with "The Worm" Rodman, Pippen, and Jordan? Or Celtics, Parrish, McHale, and "Legend" Bird? Lakers, Kareem, Worthy, and "Magic" Johnson? Pistons, Rodman, Laimbeer, "Zeke" Thomas? Just want to enhance the whole experience, sure it would not be that hard to create a fantasy team download. Just do not be charging an arm and leg for the thing. Maybe a CD to go with the game? Boston Celtics, Limited REPEAT CHAMPIONSHIP Collectors Edition ??? Lets not forget the history of this game "Lakers vs. Celtics". Ball on EA.

  Something that would be cool is that when a team scores instead of the guy throwing the ball in just gets it like nothing happened they should at least do different things liek slam the ball or feel depressed to at least give it more life because when I do an awesome dunk they just get the ball as if nothing happened. It's something small but would look great in the game.

  Based on the builds of NBA LIVE 10 I've been playing, responsiveness was a major priority for us this year and it's so much better right now at this point.  

  We're well aware of the lack of animation variety we have (one of Mike Wang's biggest pet peeves), so rest assured that we're addressing this (b/c it absolutely HAS and should happen).

  All the other things you mention below are all focuses on things we need to do and are doing (you'll see more on that later).

  As for some of you who are upset that this was the "first" info that you've seen, it wasn't meant to be like that.  We wanted to use the "inside blog" as a platform so that all of you would have the chance to feedback in on shot arc types.  Thanks for all your help guys!

  Overall:

  I hope this "fan input" thing is not just another marketing ploy. I can actually see the potential now in the live series and think nba live 2010 can actually bring live back.  I've been on the 2k wagon for a while now but it's just not doing it for me anymore.  Nba live 2009 is almost there, yet so far away.  It will play pretty well, then a player will put up a crazy shot where he shoots a jumpshot with his back to the basket and it will ruin the whole experience.  One thing that really URKS me is how the player will do the same animation almost every time they make contact with a defender while dribbling towards the basket.

  Recommendations:

  Responsiveness

  The game has to be more responsive to the user.  When i push a button, i expect to see the game respond and do the corresponding action.  Everybody knows nba live gets locked in animations.  Little things like this can ruin the experience.  If you need a reference play 2k.

  Animations:

  Dunks:

  The most important part of the game in my opinion.  I propose that live has many dunks but has different variations of the simple dunks so that, it won't get repetitive but can stay realistic.  I don't want to see a 360 tamahawk in traffic but i also don't want to see the same exact simple dunk.  Also every once in a blue moon, it might be nice to see an animation that a user didn't know was in the game.  A kobe on dwight Howard (see ref #1) or vince carter on alonzo type thing (see ref#2).  It can't be over used though.  Also, just because there is body contact, doesn't mean a player still can't dunk (example- vince on alonzo).  Usually when a player dunks in live, the defender is not touching the body of the player that is dunking.  I would like to see ea sports put in some strong finishes with the contact.  but PLEASE do not over do it like NBA Live 06.  That was the terrible.   Also when there is contact on the "dunk attempt" the player doesn't always have to do the stupid "get fouled on the shot" animation.  Sometimes a player can go up to dunk it and attempt to finish strong but miss and go to the free throw line (see ref #3).  This happens often in the NBA.

  Blocks:

  Re-do it.  This is the stupidest animation I've ever seen.  It looks like the offensive player is getting their back broken.  Sometimes I wonder if your staff watches NBA basketball.  some of the animations you have in the game very unrealistic. If its in the game, its in the game, right?   Whenever players go to block shots, THEY JUMP HIGH.  i don't think nba live does a good job of displaying this athleticism especially on the fast break blocks.  This is what the blocks are suppose to look like.  www.youtube.com/watch

  Jumpshots:

  Wow, you guys already know you have a lot of work here.  That is why you made this thread.  Honestly, somehow the jumpshot animations have to smooth out (sorry but 2k sports does a good job with this).  The jumpshots in live almost look like 10 year olds shooting.

  Post Play:

  Live is pretty good in this category.  Anything can improve though.  For example: more moves and way less OFFENSIVE FOULS but overall the post play is decent.  Oh, sometimes the players do these ridiculous shots, hopefully you can get that under control.

  Rebounds-

  incorporate the one hand grab rebound, the two hand grab to the chin-chest grip with the elbows out and maybe even the one hand grab to the two hand ball slap. Also, please bring back a revamped version of the tip-dunk off the rebound, but it should only be done with a running start (especially on a fast break lay-up that's missed because it was contested) or with a big man not being boxed out.

  Strengths-

  Atmosphere, graphics, shoe selection (could always use more, can never get enough shoes and customization).

  just for kicks:

  I liked the "off the backboard" pass back in live 05 (BTW: Live 2005 was probably the best live to date and that is not saying much).

  SOMETHING THAT HASN'T BEEN TALKED ABOUT:

  In this world of digital media and user generated content more and more companies are enabling the consumers to do the work for the company.  A GREAT example of this is Apple and their SDK developers program.  A very small scale example is College Hoops 2k8 and the ability  to create plays.  This may be years away BUT:  hopefully EA sports can enable us to make our own dunks, moves, uniforms, shoes and then share our customized entities through xbox live.  That way, EA sports doesn't have to do all the work.  If there is a new jersey unveiled, NBA live would provide us with the platform to create the new design. If people are not happy with the dunk variations available in the game, NBA live would have a built in platform that would make it easy for us to create our own dunks.  Like i said, this might be years away, but we are thinking outside of the box here.

  If you need help ea sports... don't be afraid to ask.  I want to see this game be a success.  College hoops 10 too!!!

  First, i would like to say that yall have been doing a good job with the game and that there are no major problems, jus minor ones. I would like to see players dive for the ball when its going out of bounds. I would also like to see better alley-oops. One thing that i think would help nba live 2010 is to be able to hear more of whats goin on on the court and on the sidelines, the coach talking to the players or players talkin to other players on the court. Another problem i have that i dont see in basket ball games or injuries on the court. There needs to be alot more dunks. I want to be able to dunk on a big man from time to time and other time get blocked without a fool both ways. The last thing is, i would like to be able to chase a man down the court and get a good block from behind. All and all this is coming to be a good game that can be great with a few moves made.

  Outside of the "superstars" in the game I don't think getting the perfect shot arc on every single person is absolutely pertinent. It can be randomized for the rest of the players and "i think" i would be happy.  The only people i can't think of with exceptionally high arcing shots are OJ Mayo and Dirk.  But this is not something i pay close attention to.

  Anyway, as it pertains to jump-shots, one of my pet peeves is that the game doesn't account for the fact that, most college ( future hint) and NBA players shoot shots off the dribble and off screens a lot differently then they shoot shots off of the "stand-still."  

  If you analyze an NBA game, when a player shoots a shot off of the dribble, they jump a lot higher and they hold the ball slightly longer especially when they're squaring their body up in the air.  Kobe is a master at this, he can float in the air forever on his jump-shot especially when his shot is being contested.  When a player is shooting a "set" shot they are shooting a shot they've been shooting their whole life and therefore it doesn't take as much concentration especially when they are wide open.  The player is innately not going to jump as high or stay in the air as long because there isn't anything to give them that added momentum that running off of a screen or dribbling into a shot gives you.  Also, the release is usually quicker because they naturally have less time in the air which = less time to shoot.

  Maybe the amount of pressure the user places on the shoot button can correspond to how high that player jumps on the shot and then naturally releasing the button to correspond to the timed release of the ball.  It would have to be adjusted for certain players because Kobe jumps high with multiple hands in his face and has the ability to release a short range jump shot ON HIS WAY DOWN and make it with consistent accuracy.  Most players can't do this. So although timing is important because player usually shoot the same way every time when they make shots, Kobe can do some amazing things when shooting close range jump-shots.

  Side Note:

  What I THINK distinctly separates Kobe from most players is his footwork.  Not that others don't have it.  His is quicker and smoother.  I would like to have this ability in the game. I AM NOT A KOBE FAN. Ex- www.youtube.com/watch

  I was playing live 09 just now. the game is not bad at all. What i would like to see in live 10 is the bench looking way better and them stand up with different animations getting pumped up by a blow out or a 3 point shot. Also i would like to see steve nash actually lay down when he's out because that's what he does in real life. Not to forget to have few people wear there towels on there head like a hood. EX: KG DOES IT. I really want to see warm up uniforms, that will bring the realism to the game. AND when players get subed in, they take of the warm up shirt and pants. Come on ea dont disappoint me please. Please try to get throw back uniforms on live cause it will look waaaaay better then 2k's. Hopefully for online team play there could be a season mode for clubs. that will be fun. Waiting for more info.

  I've bought and played every single NBA Live game since Live 95.  There are a few features i believe would really improve the game and make it more attracv=tive that is missing.

  1) (Gameplay) In real life, plsyers get hot during a game or fight out of a cold slump by making some easy shots.  I like the 365 feature but i believe it limits play in a sense because even though the player is cold in real life doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to at least attempt to break out of it during a game.  The shot arc is too important, but it does get a little easy to rebound when you know the shot is going in just because of how high the arc on the shot is.  Tim Duncan's bank shot and Kobe's shooter's touch should be incorporated so the player isn't exactly sure if the ball's going in until it actually goes in. And the tip in and tip in dunk would really be appreciated.  Especially with players like Dwight Howard and Shaq

  2) (Online Play) The online club feature was a real big plus on 09.  I would like to see that expand into more of league style.  Also, it would be nice if the dynasty mode was more realistic with multiple team trades, hiring and firing coaches, and stadium management.  It would also be nice to see the dynasty mode go online like on NCAA 09.  That was a major attraction for that game and i believe, if done correctly, could have the same response on NBA Live.

  the thing i wanna improve on is in the psp... i think it would be more realistic if i can see referees running around...

  Ok, I have one big complaint with this series.  There is no reason to play other than playing itself.  I am ten seasons into my dynasty, and I find myself not caring if I am going to win or lose.  There is nothing different about the championship game than the first game of the season.  In fact the only difference that could be argued is the fact that after the championship game you get to go through the offseason.  Which almost makes you want to lose games on purpose, so you can pick up an earlier draft pick.  Winning means nothing.  How about adding some purpose.

  Here's what I suggest.  Choreograph several championship ending sequences, so that for the first couple of seasons you get a different (and maybe more dramatic, depending on the amount of titles won in a row?) ending.  And make them more dramatic.  Add some special recordings from the announcers, have David Stern come out and present the trophy.  Give us some cheerleaders.  And give us a trophy case or something on the dynasty interface screen... a visual reminder of what we've earned.

  Second, here is an easy way to make every contest appear visually different (a little variety never hurt, right?).  Have the crowds fill the stands in a manner that corresponds to the game.  If you are playing a game that features the two worst teams in the league, we should see a bunch of empty seats.  Sounds detrimental to the game, I know but hear me out.  It will make even the worst games visually more appealing, and when it comes time for the playoffs and the finals you will feel (with a stadium packed with fans) like you are playing for something special.  

  Finally, lets tie all this together by putting the player in control of the franchise.  As you lead the OKC Thunder from basketball mediocrity and you start winning games, the stands begin to fill.  As they do, your franchise earns more money... which can then be used to make stadium changes and additions, buy new jerseys, new courts etc.

  As for the hot / cold stuff with NBA LIVE 365, you CAN break them out of their cold streak.  They'll start off cold, but if you work their hot spots and get them the right amount of touches, you can break them out.

  Ok, I love that you are working so hard on NBA Live 10 but can we not forget about the game we are all playing right now?  I mean the NBA is in it's prime RIGHT NOW.  We are heading into the playoffs.  Football is over.  Baseball JUST started.  F*** hockey and soccer.  LOL  But seriously, the NBA is the big sport right now.  We are about to go into 40 games in 40 nights of playoff basketball and every time I turn on an NBA game right now I see teams playing in cool ass jersey's that are NOT available on my NBA game.  Now in year's past this would be both understandable and acceptable, but not anymore.  You have spoiled us.  The coolest thing about Live 09 is the updating.  You even supplied us with the real deal jersey's and courts for the all star game.  And the same for the Thunder before the season started.  That is all great but you really dropped the ball with the amount of old school jersey's and alternate jersey's available on the game.  They aren't even an option for being unlocked some how.  So PLEASE, PLEASE, if it's not too much trouble.  Put aside Live 10 for a few days and get us an assortment of extra jersey's and shoes for all the teams!  NBA fans are playing Live 09 more than ever right now.  We've put Madden on the shelf and are playing the hell out of our Live game.  Give us some hot new jersey's to play with for the playoffs!

  Been on board since Dr. J vs Larry Bird so I'm a loyal fan.  Great job with the series, and I have some suggestions. The halftime show with an in studio host showing highlights from the first half and a simple commentary similar to the in game statements made by Kerr.  Commentary thats indicative of whats taking place in the game. Also, during the halftime show and during gameplay, stats from other games being played by other teams during a dynasty or playoff in a ticker format. Obviously, I'm a huge simulation enthusiast, and I'd prefer the game move back in that direction. Would EA consider producing two different versions of the game similar to anniversary edition Madden, however contrasting Simultaion stylings versus Arcade? That divide is generally where you have happy or unhappy fans, because the best of both worlds approach is a bad customer experience. I'd be willing to pay more to achieve the desired gaming experience. All that said, head and shoulders above last year and looking forward to next!

  Practice: make trainning for increase your shoot ability with a trainner who give you back the ball everytime you shoot and the possibility to choose practice the 3 point shoot or 2 different area.....it will also be helpfull for the 3 point contest, because we play 3 point contest without practice it....how is it possible that lebron cannot make a stepback? fast break: the fastbreak is so slow...improve the layup...the possibility to choose to dunks or to make a layup when you re going to the basket!!....recreat some great teams: bulls 96, lakers of magic, lakers of 2000, dream team1....something that i realy aske you to change is....you can always understand when a shoot goes in at the moment the player release the ball because of his parabol, so there is no suspense

  For nba live 10, you should work on small things like you've said. working on gameplay which would be the best feature to work on for right now. i've been playing live since 2001, and has always played live. live 09, you've worked on game features and not the basics like 2k has. you've already beat 2k with your graphics, now gameplay would be the best problem to work on. i have many ideas for nba live, i'll give more ideas later on.:-()

  You guys need to fix the suction of the players to each other basketball is a smooth game players don't have that much contact all the time.  In the post game they do but EA your gameplay is really bad.  You also need to go away from the button shooting and use the right stick.  Basketball is driving to the basket, coming off screens and pull up shots.  On defense its checking your man and bouncing off the floor to contest shots. Your sticky gameplay stops all of that.  You guys probably don't want to copy 2K Sports but you need to swallow a little bit of pride. The signature shooting will be good but 2K has had this for 3 years.  I played EA basketball games from Bulls vs Blazers to 2006 thats 12 years, I played NBA 2K7 it was amazing, now I wouldn't touch NBA Live.  EA needs new player models and then try to unhook the from each other, smoother and more realistic dribbling,a quicker jump shot (with the right stick this is a must have).  And better defensive play I think EA can be better than 2k, but I always rent before I by you can't trick me.

  I know everyone keeps saying this, but i think there should be a career mode where you create your own character by giving the user a certain amount of skill points to use and start your career in the NCAA, then work your way up to the NBA by getting drafted. Then every game you get more skill points based on your performance to use on your character's stats. Many other people have requested it and i think it would be cool and I'm sure a lot of other people would to.

  Some ideas that will definitely make the game fun and it’s a long list.

  Have a street ball mode where you can select from a l on 1, 2 on 2,3 on 3,4 on 4, and 5 on 5.

  Halfcourt and fullcourt selection.

  You should include famous parks like Rucker park, NY and Venice beach in CA.

  Have a game mode called “Utah”. you can select any NBA player and its basically a free for all game, you can set the point limit and once any player reaches it, they win.

  Example: you have C.Billups, D.Nowitzki, J. Richardson, and D. Howard , it’s a free for all and one of them have to score 15 points by themselves in order to win, shot from inside the 3 is worth 1 point and shots beyond the 3 is worth 2 points.

  You should have a game mode called “situation” so you can challenge yourself and see if you can make a comeback.

  Have a better pre-game presentation. Have  a  halftime and postgame show.

  You should be able to upload music and use it for the arena.

  Have basketball fitting songs that get you in the mood.

  Before a game you should be able to choose any stadium to play in.

  In dynasty have a summer league thing as well as letting us sign d- league players to our team.

  Have an offense and defense rating.

  Have injuries during gameplay and have the option to make them play hurt.

  Have all uniforms including the practice ones.

  Have more colleges out of the U.S. or let us type in the college for create a player. also don’t limit the characters for when you type in a city or state.

  Let us be able to shoot bank shots.

  In dynasty I don’t want to see black players with blonde or red hair or in other words be realistic about the fake players in dynasty ,also have way more hairstyles.

  You guys have evolved this game in so many ways. ( hand claps ) here are my opinions on what nba live 10 needs. i hope you can use this to dethrow 2k.

  Game Play :

  -Better varieties of dunks ( especially on fast-breaks )

  -Bank shots

  -Lay ups off the glass

  -Tip- in dunks and put backs

  -Improve blocks

  -Diving for loose balls / into the stands

  -Team/Players pre-game routines ( such as LeBron's chalk throw )

  -Signature crossovers

  -More realistic crowd / it's improving

  -Injuries during gameplay

  -Better full court press / usually you cant because your player locks down until the ball is passed in.

  -Interviews during half-time and after the game/and you can choose a quote

  -Better alley-oops

  Game Modes :

  -SuperStar Mode

  -Involve the D-League ( Signings )

  -Playoffs Mode for the time you want to just play in the playoffs

  -Make the Playoffs tougher than regular season

  -When choosing your settings for dynasty you should be able to chose how many game the season should be.

  -You should be able to control more than one team for dynasty mode for tournaments.

  Customization :

  - When you go to choose you jump shot style you should be able to preview what the shot looks like.

  - A more variety of shots, dunks, and go-to move to choose from

  I. The procedural awareness thing is cool but watch for the following bugs, if the object of view which is probably the ball goes behind his back…do u have an exorcist effect meaning will he turn his head in a 360 or at any angle that would look as if he were severely injured or robotic. The running motions should be based on way of real life situations…Lebron James steps back and stands up almost straight until he dives down to duck off into the hole. The fade away needs to look smooth not like a pair of scissors at an angle. The motions for this game must be done over or changed. The graphics on live remind me of the men on the Guinness beer commercial, choppy, sort of jerk for jerk motion….it needs to be smooth

  II. New animations, we gotten so far into this new generation have forgotten about the fundamentals, the spin move, the pro hop, taking it back to live 97 SNES You had the up and unders, the wind up, switching hands, touch passes, behind the back, over the shoulder, You tried to add it into the superstar saga, but you could not control it, Jason Kidd would often throw the ball out of bounds or it would be stolen,  those days need to come back. For the spin move, lets get a tape of penny hardaway, post moves need to be based off the greats, hakeem the dream, for a newer player lets get tim Duncan, Kevin garnett,.

  III. It would also be nice to have some of those players back, wht about the 96-97 orlando team, the 93-94 bulls, when the franchise mode and season get boring lets relive some of the best games in history,

  IV. Lock down D,  two buttons  allowing the user to break down,  you have two joysticks which should be equivalent to two hands, pressing down on them at the same time makes the player  taunt, slapping the floor, player chatter, pumping the crowd up, pressing on one without the other can call for double teams or help  side to side is reaching in it can lead to a foul or a layup at the other end,  the two buttons preferably L2 and R2 shift the defensive player from side to side slide the wrong way, oops somebody tape his ankles up, again these are suggestions they may need a little tweeking.  Another idea maybe is to switch it up, and move side to side with the joysticks and R2 and L2 can be the left and right hands since u control the player with those anyway.

  V. The blocks need to have the volley ball spike effect, according to how hard they are swatted, lets get some player chatter, AHHHHHH, UUUUUhhhuuun, or that’s beat, get that out of here, Not just one type of block, Lets get the backboard sound when it gets pinned, knocking one into the crowd and falling into the camera man…..jammed in the air with a hand on both sides of the ball, until they both come down……wade and lebron watching the back door for the small guards and they come over the top and destroy the ball right into the opposing bench.  

  VI. The crowd needs to be part of the game, often when I play a basketball  games, this invisible glass is between the crowd and the game the game should be one, meaning artest diving for a loose ball and flies over the announcer booth right into craig sager, into the opposing bench and into the camera section. The crowd aren’t involved they should be involved meaning when lebron touches the ball in L.A. a shower of boos come from overhead, or when the ref makes a questionable call, and they should get into clutch games chanting defense, or M.V.P. …the announcers need to be more enthusiastic with someone who is on fire ….the infamous phrase “he’s a flamethrower”…or “hes just sick” too often it sounds as if it’s a recorder behind the screen and it plays the same quotes til the point where u can predict them. For example of announcing look up vince carters top ten plays on nba live on youtube I think those were added to that video…..thats the way they should be….. If it’s a game they can talk abt the crowd being pumped up or Kobe shooting the lights out of the other team.

  VII. Lets get some highlights at halftime, from the present game and the games around the nba, and please take clips from the game and not a couple of moves slammed together for repetitive purposes…lets tune in to a rookie race whether its with espn in the game or after the game (I heard that you all bought those rights)……u get put out the playoffs you go fishing..with kenny, barkeley, and hubie brown, switch up the topics, rookie race, mvp race, defensive team etc……..this keeps you interested in playing the whole 82 games just to see if your hell of a game made sportscenter or this dunk you did made the top ten plays.

  VIII. The rookie classes either need to have better ratings or they need better and quicker ways to improve, too often the number one draft pick has a 70 ovrll, you cant do anything with that but get crushed all season….Have some players come in with some swag, headbands jordans on, nikes on, and a killa game…u can randomize it because to tell u the truth u cant tell the franchise players from the bust put that all on the user’s judgment.

  -WHEN YOUR SIXTH MAN COMES HE SHOULD MAKE A IMPACT.

  -YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HEAR THE PLAYERS SAYING THINGS SUCH AS "WHERES THE FOUL", "AAAAH", ECT.

  -YOU SHOULD HAVE A HALF TIME SHOW OR SOMETHING.

  in nba live 09 when you shot a free throw it always swished in the net in live 10 you should let the ball hit the rim a couple of times and then it goes in and in live 10 you should not make them do all the same skills like in nba live 09 because it really started to annoy me when they started doin all the same skills and they did all the same lay ups and in nba live 09 it didnt look like the ball hit the backbourd when you went up for a layup and also you should change the sound of the rim when the ball hits it kk write back.

  On May 20, 2009 i made a long list of needed changes and suggestions to blast the competition, i dont know how this goes but im thinking that you go with the majority of things repeated....thats real good...the following is the main thing that needs changing though....the graphics and animations, dont get me wrong the players look like themselves..but thats just there faces...there legs are skinny...and there uppers are large, much like charactures, fix that problem first, the next thing is the handles, they are way to slow, for people like tony parker and chris paul...they need to be smooth not choppy meaning one dribble should fall right into the other..in perfect motion..or tony parker's spin move is quick, and fundamentally sound....leaving his opponent stunned as he dips to the basket

  I like the dna feature cuz now if yall cant fit everything in the game at the last minute to every single player like sig intros, shots, crosses n s*** yall can just add it in player by player through dna/365 right? hell yeh if yall say no yall liein synergy to good fa dat s***.........?  I still aint sure doe somebody let me no sumthin

  PLEASE have every basic call in an nba game like double dribble, travel, calling goaltend everytime, and also have layups go off the glass and not just all net. I am a nba live fan without a doubt because the game play is nice its just those little things that needs 2 be added. I will post more comments 2

  Can we have the dive feature again and save the ball from going out of bounds. Warm ups and more cut scenes, siganture cross overs and more trick passes. The free throws seemed way 2 easy online specifically 4 bad freethrows like ben wallace it should be really hard 2 make those freethrows and in a cluth situation make the free throws eaven worst if there not cluth

  The every nba player with there real shot is good because alot of people had the same form on the game. And also can the players have ther real free throw form and routine 2 because on 09 everyone didnt. Also when the players get updated from trades and signing the coaches should 2 like if they get fired

  The bench should react 2 the things happening on the court and there should be a clear path shot foul becuse people on 09 would push the foul button while there behind u on a fast break and nothin happens. Also it should be basket interference on the game, and people with lots of emotion like rasheed wallace should show that emotion on the game

  kb24's shot is the worst 2k9 superstar shot by far it drives me nuts i can't use the lakers taht's how bad that shot it, all people do with him is drive cuz his shot is so whack.  what's next a shot stick?  i want my old pc nba live 04-06 foundation and build from there, not a direct copy of 2k.

  Nba Live I have been a customer of your game since Nba Live 03 which i have to say is your best game. I am 15 and I was 8 when start playing ur game on the usual.

  Nba Live was a sorry game. I like the online expierience tho they why the post play is handled. I just dont like how alot of players on the game have no real differences between them the fade away shot in the post that animation suckssssssssssssssss real bad Its not even a fade away its a turn around jump shot.

  I woulld like to have more control of the players. Like i like when u had the lean in jumpshot and when u had the x factor when role players would stra to catch fire they would do the singnature moves. Also I wont u to update palyers that are doing good in the season and give themm signature moves like danny granger, brandon roy, derek rose by the way he had the same jumper as kobe in live09.Also i want to be able to change dunks into layups in they air. Also have more tip in and tip dunks and more posterizing once in a while. Kobe is my  favorite player and he plays for my favorite team and a my favorite teams i master playing wit them so i nonwhen players have the same jumper as other and famar and sasha vujajic did I hate when try to make us look stupid and think we wont notic e but i do. also on online I

  did notice that the free throw bar was to easy freethrows should matter also I would like to be able to edit every part of the nba palyers execept for their name and birth and wrer their from u made miles of utah right haded and his left handed but u did fix that on nba live365 rosters. I would also like different varieties of ball handling moves for playes like chris paul and allen Iverson doo not dribble the same and do the same moves u should also bring back pro-hop u started on basketball game and put away I dont understand. Alson I hated that dallas mavericks and pistons and more teams that only wore white socks were wearing black socks. Also I wonted more colors for different shoes like 2k has it but u do have more varity of shoes but just not the color for those shoes take away old shoes from 4 years ago so u need to stop be lazy and putting generic shoes on peaople and old reeboks becasuse u do care get it fixed take away old hurachues and craps and put up to dates shoes when ui new shoe come out put in on the shoes display when puting shoes on a player.   I been with live every since 97..and I've seen drastic changes every year..some things are still da same but changes made motion out non changes..things I want in live are:

  Xbox live vision face

  Be a pro dynasty

  More dunks and crossovers

  Online dynasty

  Halftime show

  Post game interviews

  Pre game warmups(user)

  Create a shoe

  Old school teams

  Injuries(haven't seen any since 08)

  Tussling-scuffling

  Fan interactions

  Commentators in press box or court side

  Players get suspended during season

  It would be awesome if I could work with you guys on the production of live 11 and maybe the upcoming years of the NBA live franchise..have lots of ideas to put live even further over 2k

  i think this years installment is bulls**t due to the fact that no matter who i play with my players fling the ball into the 3rd row every time i go hard to the rim i have tried to implement different moves and techniques but it still happens on a regular basis. the fact that i have to play Kobe Bryant rules on every player on every team is ridiculous even if i give the worst player on each team an inch of daylight then they sink it nothing but net and that is so far from realistic that its retarded. a hand in the face means nothing in this game when Allen Iverson is soaring to the rim with 4 people in his face and sinks it 9 out of 10 times that is bogus. there are a lot of things that need fixing and i have played Nba Live for 8 years and i have never had so many complaints. most of the time i accept the game and play to win but this year has me putting the game down on a constant basis.
