We all know that one of the best things about playing an EA SPORTS game is winning a big game.

We are collecting stories from gamers about some of their most epic, funny, intense and surprising sports video game wins. The best stories will be featured on our soon-to-be redesigned EA SPORTS website as part of our new ad campaign starting this summer. 

So if you’ve got a gamer win story to share, please take a couple of minutes to fill out your story on this form. And if you’ve got the sports gamer equivalent of the "The Rumble in the Jungle," "The Play" or the "The Miracle on Ice," you'll hear back from us soon about having your win captured and celebrated in all its glory for the world to see.

To understand my one of my most rewarding wins, you must first understand one of my worst defeats. The very first time I meant NBA LIVE Producer Marcus Stephenson, we played a game of Madden in front of about 15 other guys. I had heard through other guys that he was a good Madden player so I had to get a game in against him. The best part and the part that he will never forget is that I brought my own controller, which I always do, and I lost. Nothing aggravates a competitive Madden player like knowing that you lost to someone who you feel that you should have beat especially when it is front of several people who you know are going to dog you for losing. And dog me they did!

Marcus and I became good friends, but he never seemed willing to let me get that rematch in Madden. I would throw out ridiculous statements like, “I’ll let you have your Cowboys and 21 points against my 49ers and I still beat you”, but he never budged. Everyone knows that nothing stings more than not getting an opportunity to avenge a loss and Marcus was a king at this. We went back and forth for a year and a half without ever playing another game.

Finally, he gave me a straight up rematch right before my wedding on Madden NFL 08 and it was a big mistake for him. I took the 49ers and dissected his Cowboys. It was never really close. I knew he had a superior offense, so I ran a blitz heavy defense sacking his QB numerous times. On offense, I stuck to my game of running the ball and mixing in the PA pass. I’m not a fan of Alex Smith, but he sure can avoid a rush. I made Vernon Davis into a Madden Hall of Famer that day. All I heard from Marcus that day was how his line was blocking for him and how the Niners would never beat the Cowboys in real life. Maybe not, but I can make the Niners beat the Cowboys 365 days a year. The final score, although it was something like 56-14, did not matter. Avenging my loss in front of a group of guys, some of them were the same who seen my loss, was all that mattered. I hope to extend my winning streak with my Niners over the Cowboys when Madden NFL 10 releases.

    heres my story,I already sent it in and hopefully get picked!! What do you guys think?

    At my friends house,and we decided to play some Madden. By the ended of the half,I was up 21-7. Buress had 127 yards,2 thouchdowns,off only 4 receptions. He(my friend) gets the ball start of sencond half,goes 3-and-out. First play,burress runs a slant,Eli hits him right in the chest,he runs for 5 more yards and BLAM!! Troy comes bashes him,burress fumbles the ball,Farrior picks it up and runs all the way.Burress ends up with a concussion and is out for the game.What do I do now?? By the end of 3rd quarter the score is 21-31,my friend up.Eli throw 2 picks,one was a pick-six,the other turned into a field goal. Eli only completed 3 out of 11 passes.Beginning of 4th quarter I decide to change my gameplan and run more often.So at the start of the quarter I was inside the 10 yard line off a 28 yard run from ward.B.Jacobs time.Hand it off 3 times and he finally gets in. 28-31. I kick it off............Holmes runs all the way. 28-38. He kicks it off,Bradshaw runs 55 yards,seemingly he is gonna go all the way and out of nowhere the kicker comes and strips the ball,some guy(forget who) picks it up and runs all the way.28-45.Now remember,this all happened in 1:20 seconds. And it seems like a blow out.I get the ball back,run 12 plays and eventually gets a touchdown,but taking  1:30 if the clock.35-45.My friend gets the ball back and me being stupind and thinking it is gonna be a run,I use a corner blitz.Ross gets to Ben,he pushes him aside,bombs it and Miller catches it at the 32 yard line,a 43 yard pass.Im thinking its over.Next play he runs Play Action,avoids another sacks throws it up....AND PIERCE PICKS IT OFF!!!He runs,breaks a tackle,2 other people dive and miss,the QB is the last man able to get him,AND HE MISSES!! PIERCE IS GONE! 42-45 with :55 remaining. I kick an onside kick aaannnnd Steve Smith GRABS IT!!!!! I just need to get to the 30 yard line and could tie the game. First play,Manning to Smith,18 yard gain.Time-out.Next play,screen pass to ward,12 yard gain,gets out of bound. :33 remaining.Next play,Eli throws to the middle to Toomer,bounces off his hands,INTERCEPTION!!!.Nooooooo!!!No one is near him but Eli.He cant tack......no wait,what's this?ELI STRIPS THE BALLL!!!!Smith picks it up,pushes harrison out the way,stiff arms townsen,trucks polamalu.HE'S GONE!! TOUCHDOWN!!!! 49-45 with :12 remaining.They get the ball back. :08 remaining.Ben throws a desperate pass down field aaaannnddd INTERCEPTION!!! Final score 49-45. The most gut-wrenching-heartbounding game in my life.

    It's a kind of long story, but 100% worth the read.

    Ok so i joined a ncaa online dynasty, didn't really know any of the people. It was big 12 teams only, it was pretty much my first time playing ncaa besides a few games versus the computer. Well all of us talked alot of stuff to each other about how we were better and such, then the worst thing that could happen to the man in lead of the division(me), i lose to the UTEP MINERS! in like week 3 against the computer. So i never hear the end of that(still don't) from other guys in the dynasty (some are now my friends btw). Well now i'm pegged as the guy who lost to utep and i could never say anything to anyone in the dynasty threat wise or they would just say " you lost to utep......shut up". So i had to redeem myself, i went from 2-1 to a amazing record of (i think) 9-1, i already beat about 2-3 of the users making fun of me, so my new comeback was, "you lost to the guy who lost to UTEP.....Shut up". But now, it's time for the Red River Rivalry. The user of oklahoma (my friend REVDOG) was undefeated,at top of the division, second in the conference, and the main guy talking about the utep loss lol. And they were all saying how he was gonna kill me, including him, truth is i was worried cause they were most likely right . So the game starts, he gets the ball and in a few plays he scores a long rushing touchdown with demarco murray to start the game off. i get the ball and then i throw a pic with mccoy >.<. So lets fast foward to the 4rth quarter where all the good stuff goes down. The score is 42-27 less then 4 minutes left, and he's on my 20. Everyone in the xbox live party is like ahahah your gonna lose 4ss4ss1n. So i'm like dang man i lost, but all of a sudden....BAM! Sam Bradford FUMBLES!! =), Brian Orakpo picks up the ball and runs it over 80 yards while breaking a few tackles for a touchdown. Score is now 42-34. I kicked the ball off normally cause i had 3 timeouts and about 3:30 to go. He just runs clock mainly the whole drive, but after a minute i stop him on thrid down so he punts me the ball. i threw a deep bomp to my secondary wide-out and it's Caught! He runs 20 yards after the catch for a touchdown. score is 42-41 1:20 left to go. I do a onside kick but i don't recover the ball, he does. But  2 seconds later...HIT STICK AND FUMBLES!! TEXAS RECOVERS THE BALL!!!. At this time, everyone in the party is completely silent. I run a few plays a button hook or 2, few screens and now i'm at his 37 yard line,2 seconds left on the clock down 42-41. It's a piece of cake field goal that i'd make in madden all the time.....WTF!@! He iced me!?! i didn't he know you could do that lol. SO now i'm on the right side of the field goal post, obstructed view and my whole season, his respect, and the countless hours spent on that game all rest on me making this kick. Since it was obstructed view i just tried to get the ball in the best spot i thought possbily, while the party made wagers and bets on whether or not i'd make it. I pulled the right stick down, pushed it up at max power and it's off. It's long enough.....off the post...IT'S GOOD!!!!! Texas wins the game!!!!! Everyone in the party is laughing and screaming and stuff it takes a while for everyone to calm down. But after it was over i said, "hey REVDOG". He says "yeah?". Then i said what i've been waiting to say since week 3, "You just lose to the Guy who lost to UTEP. ;)

    i beat mt freind as a lightweight and he was a heavyweight in one round it was my first turn on the fight night franchise in 2006 it was epic now i love the games

    I have 2 stories, both from Madden. Both matches were online. Kinda long so I hope you don't mind.

    In Madden it was Jets (me) vs. the Dolphins. After some questionable interceptions (no Pass interference being called) and a few lucky passes to the wide receivers, the guy (don't remember his gamertag) is up 28-3 at the half. Start of the 3rd, he gives me the mercy option. Though down 25, I was like I think I can pull it off. So I get the ball. A few plays of no huddle offense, mixing it up between pass and run, I get to the 20 and kick a field goal. 28-6. He gets the ball, 3 and out, and punts so I got the ball back. Barely any time taken off the clock. I get a pass to Coles and he breaks it for a TD. 28-13 now. Kick the ball, guy gets it on offense. This time he's running the ball, Williams and Brown all day. Defense is holding its own, but of course I gotta worry about the clock. I finally stop him and he punts. End of the quarter.

    I get the ball and again hit Coles for a TD. 28-20. So now he gets the ball and again is trying to kill the clock, but at a little less than 2 minutes, maybe 1:15, I get the ball back. No timeouts. I start running the ball with 4 WRs on the field, 10 yard gain, 12 yard gain. 50 seconds on the clock. I keep moving the ball, little dump passes here and there, getting out of bounds. 30 secs on the clock. A few incompletes, so now 22 on the clock. I get a big catch by the TE on to the 15 yard line. I spike the ball. 10 seconds. I go with a shotgun formation. QB drops back, looks, looks, waits, start to scramble. He finds a WR. Throws and TOUCHDOWN! 28-26. Gotta go for 2. No time on the clock. Same formation. Sees the WR, tosses, complete! 28-28. 25 point deficit erased! We get the ball in OT. I knew I get the ball, I'm going to win.  

    I get the ball. Running and running. Little gains here and there. Finally I throw the ball for a big catch. Now we're at the 40. Few more running plays and we get to the 20. Kick the field goal, and I won 31-28. Greatest game I ever played.

    The 2nd story is slightly similar between the Steelers and Titans. He was up 24-6 at half and I ended up winning 35-24.

    I got a story for you guys, I too filled out the form, but thought I would share with all of you.

      It was the finals of a double-elimination tournament and I was playing a guy in the finals that sent me into the loser bracket. I had to beat him two straight games to win the tournament. I beat him the first game 35-28. In the second game, I built a 28-14 lead going into the fourth quarter. He came back and took the lead 35-28 with 00:07 left in the game. On the ensuing kickoff, he squib kicked and I picked it up and ran it back for a touchdown. At that point, I decided to go for the win. Everyone watching was expecting me to kick and send it to overtime. I decided to pull a fake field goal and go for the win. I converted and pulled out a 36-35 victory to seal the tournament. I felt like I just won a million dollars or something cause I was jacked after I got that conversion.
