Fifteen representatives of the FIFA community from across Europe jetted into Vancouver last night, ready to commence a two-day marathon of hands-on time with FIFA 10. Exciting stuff.
Commencing with a tour of the impressive EA Canada studio, FIFA 10 producer David Rutter then treated the guys to a detailed presentation before everyone got their hands on the game for the first time.
You’ll be happy to hear that I tonked Sweetpatch.tv’s David Witts 5-2 – Chelsea were just no match for Liverpool on this occasion.
But we didn’t just invite these chaps over here so I could show them the business end of my FIFA skills (not that I’m tempted to challenge one of the attendees, 2009 FIFA Interactive World Cup champ Bruce Grannec). They’re all here to get some solid time with an early build of the new game and feed back their thoughts straight to the FIFA development team themselves.
Their feedback will make sure that FIFA 10, when it arrives, will be just as brilliant as it possibly can be. We’ll bring more coverage from the event over the next few days – and of course the attendees themselves will be filling their various websites with juicy info in due course. June 5th is a date for your diaries – let’s call it FIFA 10 Day.
