  Some ideas that will definitely make the game fun and it’s a long list.

  Have a street ball mode where you can select from a l on 1, 2 on 2,3 on 3,4 on 4, and 5 on 5.

  Halfcourt and fullcourt selection.

  You should include famous parks like Rucker park, NY and Venice beach in CA.

  Have a game mode called “Utah”. you can select any NBA player and its basically a free for all game, you can set the point limit and once any player reaches it, they win.

  Example: you have C.Billups, D.Nowitzki, J. Richardson, and D. Howard , it’s a free for all and one of them have to score 15 points by themselves in order to win, shot from inside the 3 is worth 1 point and shots beyond the 3 is worth 2 points.

  You should have a game mode called “situation” so you can challenge yourself and see if you can make a comeback.

  Have a better pre-game presentation. Have  a  halftime and postgame show.

  You should be able to upload music and use it for the arena.

  Have basketball fitting songs that get you in the mood.

  Before a game you should be able to choose any stadium to play in.

  In dynasty have a summer league thing as well as letting us sign d- league players to our team.

  Have an offense and defense rating.

  Have injuries during gameplay and have the option to make them play hurt.

  Have all uniforms including the practice ones.

  Have more colleges out of the U.S. or let us type in the college for create a player. also don’t limit the characters for when you type in a city or state.

  Let us be able to shoot bank shots.

  In dynasty I don’t want to see black players with blonde or red hair or in other words be realistic about the fake players in dynasty ,also have way more hairstyles.

  After shooting a free throw, show the team giving a high five to the player shooting.

  Have a chemistry rating.

  Let the players have emotion.

  Make the playoffs tougher and actually feel like the playoffs as well as the finals.

  When players fall on the floor, have a guy with a mop clean up the sweat.

  Have jump ball situations.

  In dynasty have players change their haircut but don’t give a guy like Lebron a mullet or anything like that.

  Show players shaking hand s and interviewing after a game.

  On a fastbreak it always seems like the defense is catching up and messing up my lay ins.

  This is how some parts of the dynasty menu should look like.

  General manager > messages,roster, personnel,scouting,free agents, trades, trade block, and team needs

  Franchise info>job status,team buget, relocation, uniforms, create a uniform

  Coaching>gameplan, practice, development

  NBA news> standings, injury report,pow rankings, allstar votes, rumors, and scores

  When signing free agents, do it by position and not scramble all the players together.

  Let the CPU put a starter potential guy on the bench so it can help the team’s flow.(only sometimes)

  Example Richard Hamilton.

  Improve the dunk animations.

  If there is a short guy going to the hole against a big man most of the time it should get blocked.

  They should have missed dunks.

  For a bank shot have us press L1 and circle.

  For alley oops have us push up R3.

  Have players diving in the stands after going for loose balls sometimes.

  Have some save animations, save meaning stopping the ball from going out of bounds.

  Have players pushing and shoving, mostly during the playoffs and have the players get suspended or ejected sometimes.

  Don’t make every player cut up because not all players are muscular .

  Have player body types for create a player.

  The player signing should be simpler like have a list of standards that the player would want and if the team doesn’t meet the standards it should say that he’s not interested.

  Have a temper rating for the players.

  Why cant we be able to have new head coaches in dynasty?

  Let us be able to create a team, and new plays,

  In dynasty let expansion teams come in the league once in a while, also have teams relocate, and create new uniforms if they want.

  Let us be able to create coaches.

  Just some suggestions to make this the best game.

  choosing on court you would hear the arena music,player chatter,fans,and coaches.

  if possible have the euro teams too and in franchise let the players be able to join the nba from the d league or euro league.

  oh yea could you guys take off the hotspots because it makes the game unrealistic,we want to play pure basketball.just have more rating types like right post shot 26,mid range shot 77, etc...

  also you guys should do that percentage thing behind the scenes because im sure no one whats to see right perimeter 40% everytime they shoot.

  no disrespect but you guys add some things that i think is unnessessary, its like your having a basketball game that makes players spin 5 times in the air before they dunk,we want pure and original basketball go by that and you will be successful this year.

  also have a superstar mode like madden.

  i really hope that you consider my ideas because it will make the game fun for me and all the others that play nba live.

  Ok, ok - I've been waiting for you guys to start talking more Live 10.I guess you guys had to wait for the Madden swell to run it's course, for the most part. I will let all my fellow posters handle most of the what can be added to improve the game but I think u guys may be on it since u recruited the lead guy from the 2K b-ball series. I read that interview on espn so I know he's crackin'  the whip because he definitely wants to out do his old 2K crew. I have a feeling Live 10 is finally gunna be that b-ball game that I've been waiting for.

  Every EA sports twitter should be added on the left bar, not just the madden people. I was once a devoted Live fan, but after it became unplayable, I switched over to 2k. I've been on 2k for the last two years. I hope you can win me back. I'm rooting for you to put out a realistic and fun game.

  One thing I don't understand is why FIFA players look so sharp and crisp, but NBA Live players don't. Look at images of FIFA 10's players' boots. They're hd. But if you look at the shoes of NBA Live players, they are blurry and usually not up to date.

  One thing you need to change this year is work with Nike THROUGHOUT the season. Do you realize that players usually wear 2 or 3 kinds of shoes in a season depending on how Nike releases them. Well just like you update the stats all the time, you should update the shoes they wear. Come November, when they all put on the new ones, you should make it updateable so that the players are wearing those new shoes too. But make them look good!

  yea 2k has been kickin yalls ass since live 06 idk maybe it was a tough transition to next gen...2k has been better presentation wise, gameplay wise and graphically. That said live can be just as good if you just improve defensive play and make it harder to get a fastbreak since you rarely see those in the nba off the inbounds.

  i like the feel of live more than 2k,the graphics are better.every game needs improvements.besides, if you sit down and actually write down what you like from an old game (2k5),i think you'll have some ideas.the majority of the ideas i had came from me.

  honestly warrior i've always been a fan of madden and i've never owned a 2k football game i played 2k4 or 2k5 which ever one was on dreamcast and that was my cousins hold up as a matter of fact i did own a 2k footaball game but that was on playstation 2 and i sold it back to gamestop after 2 weeks because i liked madden better but when i thought about it 2k presentation was better than maddens but the graphics for 2k was horrible

  Marcus - That's whussup! Thanks for posting some feedback up here. I've rode with Live for a long time but missed out on a few including last year's iteration. I liked what was going on in Live 08, which I bought, and even Live 09, although I only played the demo. Once 2K improved the graphics, I grabbed 2K9, only, last year, although I grabbed Live 08, first, then 2K8 later, the previous year. I couldn't get into 2K8 because the graphics, for a current gen game, made my stomach turn, so I played Live 08 the majority of the time.

  What I read in that ESPN interview sounded real promising. I am rooting for you guys because I really think Live has been on to something the last couple years and it just needs to get the animations, rebounding, AI and control responsiveness improved, for the most part. Those were my biggest issues with Live for this gen but sounds like you guys are really trying to overhaul this game based on the April interview. Just keep on striving and I cannot wait for the weekly blogs.

  marcoyk - This is the time to speak on what you want in Live. warrior310 is doing the right thing. Obviously, EA is paying attention so don't hate on warrior for speaking on what he wants. I dunno if you were on the Madden blogs but people really went hard on what they wanted in the games. The lists were phenomenal but the thing is that many of those desires are going to make Madden 10 so speak up, my friend.

  Make blocking more realistic, I know you said the right stick will be added for that, I just hope it works. In 09 every time you tried to block from behind, it was almost a given foul even if it looked clean. Make players dive for balls and try to save it inbounds. Try to fix the stat overlays when at the free throw line. In dynasty especially, I hate when it says last game against Memphis with 12 points when my last game was against Washington with 31 points.

  also could you prevent the players from doing extra moves for nothing because if you have a wide open lay up,the guy would step back and do something dumb to miss.

  One more thing. I would consider re-adding the little logos next to the player names showing if there good at 3's, blocking, defense, and dunking. I know alot about the NBA so I know who I should and shouldn't shoot 3's with, but to people not familiar with every single players strengths and weaknesses, this always helps.

  We need more dunk,crossovers,falls from crossovers and fancy pass animations(from fancy passers of course). I'd love to see more contact at the rim. For some reason it was almost impossible to dunk on someone. If a pointguard is coming toward the rim, the big man should be able to block the shot instead of dunking. Live 09 was really good, and can't wait to see how this one will be put together. Oh, and bring back the different shoe option if you guys are able to. I like to change my kicks from game to game...

  Basketball is about finess on offense and timing on defense

  Pre-canned animations make basketball(and sports) games of this generation old and boring.  Eventually a player will see all the animations and he'll feel like hes watching a replay that he has no control over.  This kills a sports game and decreases the chance someone will buy your next game.

  The defensive player always has the edge in following an offensive player and should not be beat by a pre-canned animation like in NBA 2K's juke move.

  You need to have unlimited replay via a powerful physics and motion engine like the game Backbreaker.  Where weight, speed, momentum play a roll in a players strategy and the consequences of contact impact.  This goes for on the ground and airborne players going for a rebound.  

  Ditch freestyle, ditch isomotion and create a free-flowing movement system where a players intentions are realized through his controls, rather than static animations via triggers of the control.

  Posting up, include strength and weight as factors.  

  Shooting - double clutch signature shots need to be assigned to players, the pump fake is such an asset in the game.

  Plays - I don't want someone elses playbook, I wanna create my own movements and plays.

  Franchise - I don't care, many don't care, who has time for this?  Sports are about friends, online friends and you vs the A.I.   Focus on GAMEPLAY, not a feature 80% don't use.

  Pacing, players can't move from the 3-point line to the rim with 5 guys in their face and through canned animations drive to the rim and score.

  The game is only fast through fast breaks.  Keep it that way.

  Hey Marcus! Just some ideas...

  1. If you could add to the atmosphere of an NBA game, it would do WONDERS. During crucial moments of games, the team's bench should be standing up cheering on their teammates. If a player makes a game-winning shot, I think there should be a cut-scene of that player celebrating with their teammates instead of just cutting to the ref to see if the shot counted. How about the entire crowd wearing the same color shirt (even just a white out in the stands)in the playoffs to further differentiate them for regular season games.

  2. Any extra pregame signature animations like the LeBron chalk clap, KG going to the corner of the court and pounding his chest or DWade doing pull ups on the net. Bringing back player introductions will add some more anticipation and atmosphere to games. And if someone doesn't like that, they can skip it.

  3. Since Dwight Howard is the cover athlete, it is probably a good time to mention it. It would be great to add player tendencies like "hook shots" or "fadeaways" so that players like Dwight and Shaq will use the hook shot more instead of using two-handed fadeaways all the time like in 09. And that way players like Kobe and LeBron will take more fadeaways as well. Maybe even a "go-to move tendency" to regulate how often a player uses that move might be interesting.

  I noticed that Team Flight Brothers have sort of been working with or at least trying to work with the NBA. Try bringing them in for some Motion Capture. They've got some great dunks that of course only certain players could pull of in the game. That would make for some great animations!!!

  Also, I'm not asking for brawl, but player confrontation is part of the game. Maybe after certain fouls, players start interacting until a ref or player breaks it up. I just finish watching game 4 of the Finals, and if you saw it too, you saw how Howard and Kobe got into it, as well as Gasol and Pietrus. I also think that technical fouls should be in the game.

  Maybe during intense parts of games, if a player has low "mental toughness" he is more likely to argue with the refs and get a tech or two, which means ejection. Same goes for coaches because they get technicals too. That would be a great way to use that rating. And would also making having players like Sheed more risky because they impact the game with their skills, as well as their mouths.

  Hopefully there will be new blocking animations for players like LeBron who come from behind on fastbreaks and block the shots. It just gets frustrating when a player becomes stationary when he goes for a block because he usually goes in the wrong direction.

  I'm not sure if you already fixed it, but player speed could use some help because a lot of the time a player like Yao is step for step with LeBron on the fast break and the fastbreaker never really pulls away from slower players. And even the fastbreak in general so that players with good "fastbreak anticipation" run the floor quickly and correctly, as well as the defense getting back and getting in positon.

  Thats all I can think of right now. Just want to say thanks for keeping in touch with the fans like you do, and actually listening to our ideas. Good luck with development! I'm really excited for this game!!

  Sorry last thing, but hopefully players with a designated hand (left or right) use that the most when they go for the dunk, or even some layups. I would just like highflyers like Kobe, LeBron and Wade to quit using their left hands on so many dunks. But if you can't fix that, I understand.

  I can't believe I'm doing this once more, but it would be appreciated if you worked on AI in late game situations in terms of clock management, knowing whether they need a 3 or just a 2 and getting the ball into the team's best player, or one with a high clutch rating. And also when you intentionally foul someone to stop the clock, the crowd shouldn't boo. lol Anyways just wanted to give some more praise and let you guys know that you have always had great things like soundtracks (sometimes means more to people than you think) as well as great commentary and presentation. And I think if you can just add to these elements as well as the ideas you have for gameplay, that this well be a great year for LIVE fans.

  I'm truly upset. Come on people the MVP of the league and the best player in the NBA has yet to grace ANY basketball game cover. Here is a list of the players that have all been on basketball game covers; Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Shaq, Kobe, Dwayne Wade, T-mac, Kevin Garnet, Vince Carter, Jason Kid, Amare Stoudemire, Ben Wallace, Gilbert Areans(who may never stay healthy) and maybe the worst cover boy of all Steve Francis. LeBron James is better than everyone on this list and has not gotten any love. Don't get me wrong D12 has had a great couple of years but come on LeBron was the feakin MVP and is the face of the NBA. I love the live series and I was very upset with this pick for the 10 cover boy. Hope its going to be a great game but you guys really missed the boat with this one. P.S. To any of you people who use the fact that LeBron lost to Orlando your stupid because that does not change the fact that he deserves this more than D12(whom i think is the 2nd best C in the league behind Yao) Bottom line LeBron got jobbed.

  Convert the fatuige factor most games are 48 mintues and the average playtime for a superstar is 30 miintues...so if a game is 20 then the star player should play around 10-15 make this important so that people have to play with there bench instead of cheesing the whole game..with lebron in his own Lay-up line

  i am a gamer and NBA2k is winning right now but you guys can win this year..also make shot selection important and homecourt like late in games chants of "defense" should make the other player controller rumbler..and MVP should make the player more confident to make a play.. also try to get some of these guys voices..for expressive player..i would be forced to play with the pistons just to hear Resheed holler at the ref making bad calls..

  make ejections apart of the game..if there is bad call you should be albe to force an argument..by pressing y..but make it a risk reward thing..like if u keep complaing to the ref he will t-you up..but if u complain at the right times he will start to look at the call..like lets say the ref calls a charge..you argue the call and do not get T'ed up..then it happens again but when it happens again the ref see that the feet were in correct position..and visa versa like if you are reaching in and the ref calls a foul on u..and u argue with him and you do get t'ed up..when u reach again he is more likely to call a foul..and make clutch a stat..Carmelo and Kobe should be leading in this stat looking at there body of work in clutch situations.. Melo had 5 this season not including the big one in the playoffs..Honestly Lebron Clutch should be in the low 70's like 71 maybe even 68.. and have player stay face gaurding great players like Kobe should get face guarded like he doe's..and i think you should change all shooting stats to percentages..if i guy shoot 40% from 3 point rang..when he shoots it should be the same way..a 40% chance..unless he gets hot..like Melo 33 in a Qtr.. those are a few ideas

  I get what your saying SLAVEMASTER14, because I am a huge LeBron fan myself. I don't think the reasoning for this decision was because he lost to Orlando. TMac was on the cover of Live 07, and he has lost to everyone. lol I read somewhere that it was LeBron who didn't want to be on the cover of a video game, which is probably why he hasn't been on a cover yet. Otherwise he could have been a cover athlete years ago. I might be wrong, but I actually think it is Bron's decision to not be a coverboy.

Not everybody likes to play(sim) a full 82, 50 game season just to do the Playoffs...for players who wish to sim through the game, can you give us to option to skip the game altogether instead of waiting quarter by quarter by quarter by quarter

  Add a Create-a-Team like Teambuilder...or Add the Classic NBA Teams like the '90 Pistons, '88 Lakers, '83 Sixers, any of MJ's Bulls, '84 Celtics, '95 Rockets and so on, make it like a Classic NBA Finals area OR have the championship matchups already preset so we can play a full 7 game series: certain teams would have to be unlocked of course, yall added it on the NCAA side with the Fab Five and the 94 Arkansas, it was dope,I LOVED IT!!!

  -yo good ideas on here but for real if your gonna try to compete wit the comp theres things your gonna needa evaluate thts helpin them first off the presentation deff needs to be fixed you have sportscenter top nominees which was crazy to see but after the game there was nothing at all that had to do wit it rather than some sprite highlight show (that should be comentated through) have a top 5 plays.  also have some type of presentation give me a half-time interview on how to improve wit a kobe or lebron and an end game interview.  and at the end of a game even after a buzzer beater its the same annimation change that i want the players to be more excited than me when i hit a game winner to really rub it into the opponent.  

  -something that no other game has but hockey is fighting. live is to all audiance and i dont meant control fists with right and left anaglog but technical fouls was huge this year especially with the cover athlete superman in the playoffs.  let a little trash talk hapen and the option to stop if not getta tech (and a lil scuffle cudnt hurt lol)

  -finally dynasty mode, i kno the be a pro prolly will have its own thing but dynasty needs improvement.  Make players chemistry actually matter like they wont pass and they ball hog w.e the situation. Make stamina matter.  Unlike in 2K in Live the bench shows no importance which is important in great teams.  Yet in dynasty make it like mlb games where players get tired due to back to back games and cnt play all 40 min. in every game.  Make it so they are more prone to injurys (which should also be fixed).

  Man i really hope you guys bring back NBA Live. I am a NBA Live fan, but the last two years i didn't buy the game, and had to switch to 2k's version, i remember the good days when as soon as live was out i would go pick it up, bcuz i knew itw was going to be a solid basketball game, 08 was the first year on next gen, and was a let down but thats understandable for the first time using the new next gen consoles, 09 was an improvement over it but still wasn't good enough for me to buy. My last NBA live was the 07 on ps2. I really hope you guys do NBA Live justice, and by what you guys have been mentioning on how you are overhauling the game, i believe this years NBA live will do just that and really give 2k a run for its money. Good work on hiring the 2k's former lead designer i really think he will help vastly improve this years game and to make it better than his old 2k crew lol really looking forward to future blogs about the game, i really do want to be able to pick up Live once more.

  Do you guys have big plans for the player DNA on a larger scale? I'm not sure when Synergy Sports started tracking everything, but imagine being able to go back to any year and play with that roster and DNA. I'd love to go back and do the Bulls vs Jazz series in 98, or the Lakers vs Blazers in the WCF.

  Also, is it possible to have the Seattle Sonics in this years game as maybe an unlockable team or something. Legally, would that be possible?

  Also, i'd like to see you guys take full advantage of the ESPN license. The ticker and radio inserts are great, but i think i speak for many where it is not featured enough in the game. The scoreboard art in the corner should have the ESPN design, and the ticker should be running at all times.

  How big of a focus is "tv style presentation" for this years game? Cause if it is significant, there are a lot of small touches i'd like to see added. Stuff like the announcers mentioning the S-A-P function for Spanish watchers and just little stuff like that would make the game seem more life-like

  please fix the stiffness in live 10 and make the gameplay smoother like ncaa basketball 09...that game was sooo much smoother than live and its made by the same company...don't get me wrong i love live but as long as yall(the producers) fix the basic fundamentals live will be great.   2.Fix the ALLEY OOP...i shouldn't be able to throw an alley from half court all the time

  alot of good post from a lot of people and i really like ever1s suggestions.

  Myy ideas for live 10:

  -The live fastbreaks seem too slow, i mean i could be lebron james and am on a fast break .. i look behind me and i find a player like ben wallace trailing me goin almost the same speed i am maybe even faster.

  -Player confrontations ... it would be really amazing if you guys could make it so that when a player gets fouled hard while going to the basket.. we could have a choice of confronting that player or not..

  -Live needs to flow a lot more it all seems too slow and robotic to me,

  -I know you guys already adressed the ball to rim physics but i would like to see the ball miss in more ways than one and see the shot go in .. in more ways than one in 09 it was either a swish or a simple of the rim miss. i would like to see a lot more ball going off the rim and dropping in  kind of actions.

  -Also i realized that in live once a player on the other team jumps for a board the other players on either team just jump up lazily withouteven trying to get the ball.

  -Why do all shots look like rainbows? Once a shot goes in life goes up we are all immmediately able to tell if its going in or not..

  -i would like to be able to tell who aplayer is from afar during gameplay. i think you should make player models more unique( i know this is not as easy as it sounds ... and i know it will take a lot of time and effort but if u manage to pull this of this game will be AMAZING!)

  EVEN THROUGH ALL THIS PROBLEMS I STILL LOVE THIS GAME SO JUST IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE WHEN ALL THIS PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN ADRESSED.

  i forgot one important thing... half way into dynasty my created player dat i drafter began to glitch anytime that i would u know simulate the game .. when i come in at late game situations my player would b glitched into the court with 5 players already in and he would just b running into like a wall or something and if i tried to sub him my game froze and my created player stats stayed at zero through out the season and did not get a chance to be in allstar game and get some achievements

  *I think you all should make each stadium sound and feel different as far as crowd wise with the chanting and more authentic pa annoucers ie. detroit pistons

  *Another idea i have is make every team scoreboard different instead of the sprite logo on every teams scoreboard. also can u guys make the refs actually useful in live 10 cause in 09 refs dont go get the ball if it rolls all the way back to half court and why is it that the ref that is the farthest away from the play will make the call if it is a foul.

  yea adding to the ref thing i hted it when i was shootin a free throw and it was just like a collage of different animations ....first u see da player dribbling the ball .. next u see da screen change to da player getting to shoot. nxt thing u see is the ball magically return to the hands of the player..

  i wana see more interaction from players supporting the ft shooter and the referee getting the ball and returning it back to the hands of the shooters...

  Chase down blocks never happen in 2K or Live, this would be a very gratifying element that rewards the player that runs back on defense and has impeccable timing.

  Defense has to have the most improvement as NBA games have suffered from the lopsided advantage that offense always has.

  Warrior-I'm pretty sure they are gonna have Procedural Awareness for this year because it doesn't make much sense that they make a vid of that with Wade if it is only for Madden. :) But I'm not sure EA has the time to have all those broadcast crews in the game, even though that would be AMAZING.

  What else I would like to see is..

  *Players dive on the floor for loose balls like you guys said earlier, but at the very least make more of an attempt to get the ball after they poke it out of your possession because it was weird to watch the CPU jog to the ball after they had taken it out of your hands. lol

  *I would like the coaches/bench players to be more in the game because they are always looking in the wrong direction and don't really react to what is going on the court unless it is a cut-scene.

  *In situations where I need to foul at the end of the game, even though I always call "full court" defense, if I have a foul to give, for some reason my team is usually on the wrong side of the court. Same thing with the CPU. Hopefully that will be tweaked.

  *I think it would be unique if on certain days, the stat overlay changed it up. Like on Thursday, have the TNT overlay, and on Wednesday/Friday have the ESPN overlay. But it's not that important.

  *I think the PA announcers need to be a little more rowdy and energetic. Maybe have some player/team specific audio like when CP3 scores and the crowd goes "wooooooo" or when the PA says "Detroit!" and the crowd says "Basketball!" Just some ideas..

  *I WOULD *LOVE* TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE GO-TO MOVES FOR PLAYERS, OR GIVE A PLAYER ONE TO BEGIN WITH. BECAUSE I THOUGHT SOME PLAYERS HAD MOVES THAT CHANGED, LIKE LEBRON STARTED USING A STEP-BACK JUMPER WHICH IS ABOUT THE EXACT SAME THING AS DERRON WILLIAMS. I WOULD JUST LIKE SOME VARIETY WITH THAT.

  Something else I just thought of is something I think most people will like regarding shoes. I'm sure everyone has noticed that shoes come in only a few colors for each shoe model, which is understandable. But I think it would be VERY CREATIVE if after we choose the shoe we want, if it would give us a small list of basic colors to choose from like when we choose colors for headbands and so on. It would add some variety and maneuverability for each shoe because it could be used for any team. Plus it would be like making our very own shoe which I think is cool.

  can u fix the way when players run out of bounds in 09 they keep bumping an imaginary wall then turn around.

  In live 10 instead of bumping into that imaginary wall let the players run over the camera guys who be sitting on the baseline under the goal. or at least run into the crowd.

  ea u probably already answered this question but i hope we will be able to USE THE BACKBOARD the  this year on live 10 b/c 09 didn't show no love when u used the backboard u would miss it 99% of the time even though in real life any coach couldn't stress that enough when doing a lay up.

  I agree with warrior on fans should statt leaving during a blowout.

  In live 10 can u guys take the hotspots off the court and instead just have a meter under the players foot that turns green when they are in the hot spot, then yellow and red when they go across a neutral or cold zone.

  Could you guys fix the dynasty setting, when the team you play as is over the salary cap, you can't sign any players, so you may go into your second season with only 9 guys, after losing 6 to free agency, and not affording any since you are 5 million over the cap.

  Live_Madden_03,i think that you just dont know how to play dynasty.i have no problems with it,thats the actuall salary cap of the teams in the nba.

  i suggest that you start trading players and stuff because dynasty is just fine as far as that,but its your opinion and im just telling your point is wrong.

  thanks marcus i wasn't trying to sound mean if i did, but as long as gameplay is fixed live can wear the crown again. even though live was a little slack the last few years i stuck with it b/c i refuse to play 2k. The only thing i did was play the demo of 2k9 and it SUCKED. I been playing live all my life and it finally sounds like we taking our crown back.

  About the backboard shots...letting us choose if we want to go glass or not ummmmmmm BEAUTIFUL. Now i may give guys like Tim Duncan a run since that is his game.

  What about the atmosphere??? will it sound and feel like a real basketball game cause little things like that will make a game soooo much better.

  In this years live can yall make the commentary better than last years live. I mean there just wasn't enough excitement after a big shot or throughout the game when im playing 09.

  i have barely played live for the past years i had left for 2k i have been very disapointed as of late but i can

  see improvements happening since i have been seeing the mADDEN IMPROVEMENTS but since yall are at big competition with 2k yall should really listen to the fans on this 1 which yall barely did for the madden gameplay, this was my suggestions for 2k10 so i kind of edited if you guys can get this b4 them itz gonna be like EA yall r in he game.(must i remind i dont play live likethat but these are some cool things that 2k doesn't have that would be nice to have then i will think about buying live)

  -At least five shooting animations per player (quick shot, open shot, conested shot, fadeaway shot, leaning forward shot), and some fadeaway shots should cause players to fall with contact i would love to see kobe make a fadeaway during a foul it always happens in real life.

  -Another thing i would lke to see is better celebrations after game winners and buzzer beaters, it's not hyped enough i like when d wade hop on the annuouncers table and said "this is ma house" things like that brings more excitement.

  -How about for an authentic reason let jersey and all equipment have its own movement bring it to life on a hard slap to the head foul i want to see headbands tilted to the side and being fixed, jerseys should be coming at the shorts sometimes depending on how rowdy you play those jerseys on 2k n live are too firmly tucked.

  -player/caoch frustration should be added i want to be able to make my player or coach complain on fouls refs don't call sometimes i probably get  tech but it will take some affect on the ref by starting to call more fouls, there should be techs in the game with coaches and players complaining taking out frustration on the refs or each other.

  -i would like to see flagrant fouls also, sometimes a player can be frustratd by a player or by losing and take a hard foul on him.

  -Hype up player rivalries in franchise mode.

  -The clebrations after a made shot should be foulcourt length it should be a button for it, and sometimes depending on the intensity players should get techs for doing too much, i want players like jr smith showing out like he really does hyping up the crowd.

  -Make contact more effective, i dont understand how lebron and kobe just dunk it windmill and all other crazy dunks with ppl in there face as a defender i shhould be able to at least foul and alter they shots because most of those dunks are imposible yall need more aggresive layups

  -Players should be aware of certain situations like if i have .6 seconds left to make a shot a player should take the quickest shot possible or i should b able to do a tip in type play from the inbound i hate when i cant make a last second with a little time because a players animation

  -balance should be a factor too, i see players fall all the time on shots, passes (that alley-poop wade threw) defense, and tripping, you cant een cross somebody and make them fall anymore i used to like that.

  -All star weekend improvements

  -Players that get drafted should have there on style as far as equipment an tattoos he wears, they all come in plain.

  -I want to be able to see a player is playing injured or just came off an injury, if a player had a cut in his face he should wear a bandaid,  if he recently had a broken nose he should wear a hamilton face thing for a while, if he had a leg injury we shall see a ankle brace, shoulder brace etc.

  -what happened to the fans leaving the building while there teams getting blew out, it uesed to happen in 2k5.

  -Show game highlights in franchise mode from other games, if a buzzer beater occured i want to go and see it.

  keep up with players amount of buzzer beaters, 30 point games, 40 point games, 50 point games etc.

  and the records of who got the most of them.

  -have a clutch rating that can immprove in franchise the more a player performs in clutch situations.

  -it should be more player hype in franchise mode, players on magazines and all

  -stop letting players win awards because of jus numbers the amount of wins his team had should take affect.

  -Give players ego's that teams take the risk of dealing with if he is acquired to them and also discipline for when he get's into trouble from off the court issues

  -the MEDIA should be a big factor in franchise mode

  -You should be able to play dirty sometimes, u should catch players grab jerseys while playing d sometimes and even trash talk, sometimes even confront players and get a tech something like ron artest.

  -Fan animations like yall have in madden

  -we should see playoff and finals tags on players jerseys

  -keep up with players awards

  -their should be a leadership rating and players should also feed off another players presence like denvers players have played better defense since the addition of billups and a better team play from his leadership.

  -Have a list of all retired players in franchise so we can still see their stats, sometimes players should come out of retirement

  -make the finals and playoffs have the intensity it had in real life.

  -chemistry and make it also feed off player relationships

  -players and coaches should get fined for certain actions done on court or off court, or too the media.

  -player suspensions should take affect too and if u get the right amount of techs i 4got the actual number in the season u should get a 1 game suspension.

  -2k alwayz dunks on alley-oops idk if you guys do but some alley oops should be lay-ups

  - give the ball some weight it seems too light.

  -make the floor look like one and have the squeaky noises at times.

  does dynamic dna mean that once a player gets a shave, haircut, or tattoo it will appear?? i think when players get injured yall should place the bandages or braces they wear on them so we can know, some players wear them for the rest of there career, even the rip hamilton and courtney lee mask.

  Have you guys discussed at all anything about the new PS3 motion controler or NATAL?  I think with the two wands for the PS3 you can finally bring sports to first person and create a new layer of visceral action.  The two sticks act as hands etc...

  I think motion controllers can bring a depth not yet seen in sports...

  ive been a fan of live since 2000 pc(i believe the one when jordan made his comeback to the live series, if i am wrong i apologize, its too far back for me to remember. and from live 2001 for ps2) PLEASE PLEASE. i know its hard work, but please make live 2010, an enjoyable experience.

  Suggestions

  1. Fix the defense, in live 10..... its unrealistic.. in the nba you cant crip walk your way into the paint and get a lay up like that EVERY possesion. i realize it does happen sometimes in the nba. but it happens too much in live. also when u call defensive plays the game doesnt respond fast enough, which results in points for the opposing team.  I think the balance isnt good. like on the perimeter u never see blow by and dunks(lebron), and in the paint u rarely see big shot blocks. mid air shot blocks, blocks off the backboard etc.. Also there is NO help defense in the game. NONE whatsoever.

  2. Isolation Scoring - I think its not that advanced in the live series, there needs to be more handles, more hesitations, pump fakes gettin people in the air then drawing the foul. between the leg dribbles repeatedly (jordan, jobe does this too from time to time). jab steps, quick crossovers, spin moves.  more and 1's. just a better arsenol of moves for a guy like kobe bryant, d wade those type of players.

  3. The Overall Feel Of The Game - Help defense needs to be added, balance of the game, post game needs to get better, more fouls in a game, strips , mid-air shot blocks, pins, on fast breaks i dont know why the defense always catches up, diving for loose balls, fighting through screens, the ability to create for others like drawing a defender and passing to that person for the open shot. Dirty on-ball defense, physical play, MOMENTUM of the game the ability to talk and sway referees (too much talkin should result in t's), blow bys, crossovers(like making your defender go the wrong way instead of just getting by him, home court advantage, flopping, fighting for post position, defense is too stagnent in live games, theres not enough movement, not enough REAL easy baskets, the game almost seems forced, if u catch my drift. flagrant fouls, jump ball scenarios, put back slams, tip ins, boxing out better, mandatory use of coachin at the end of quarters or timeouts (emphasis on certain areas of the game, which should be improved on by coaches orders), flopping, proper passes, lead passes, bounce passing, chest passing behind the back passing, every pass is a chest pass in live for some odd reason.

  more to come, cant wait for live 10. The Game of basketball is VERY complex. theres soooo many things to the game of basketball, you guys need to put everything in the game. its the only way itll feel real.

  I love all of your ideas Cattiemon!! With the whole crossover thing, if you watch some vids of freestyle dribbling on youtube, there are moments in the game where the player will misread which way your going, and go in the wrong direction. And there are also times where they even fall down. But I def. get what your saying.

  I've been playing 2k as well as Live for a while now, and even though Live's freestyle may feel repetitive/simple at times, it's not as frustrating as 2k's. With 2k, you have to know exactly what buttons to press, otherwise your player will look like a fool while he is going in all kinds of directions. Just thought I would add some perspective.

  IT should be like this:

  Get drafted and if you dont make the team after the summer league, you can either just be free agent or play in the D-league.

  To choose your attributes you perform a series of drills like in maddens superstar mode.

  i would like to see the players (on court and bench) ,coaches and crowd  be more active.

  like show the player's frustration after missing a shot,show the coaches stomping in a blowout game,show the fans getting up with posters saying "howard make some magic".

  also coaches dont stand up watching the whole game,they sit sometimes.

  please fix the free agent thing,when you press X to sign the player,show a interest bar along with some topics like "star of the team" (with kobe his interest in that would be 95%).if  he has a low interest,just say kobe bryant isn't interested in signing with your team,if its a decent interest level just let us work out his desired contract..i hope you understand what im saying but if you dont just say explain it more.

  make the cheerleaders non robotic.

  i would like to see blocked dunks,but have different kinds.

  make the players have roles,ben wallace would be "defensive".

  fix some of the player's names in dynasty.

  also make some future stars because after a while its like im playing with a bunch of bums.

  make the players have some swagger,make that a rating also.

  lastly make the dynasty menu more life like because its just dead right now.

  i hope you add these things because im sure the fans of this game would love it.

  so lets say a player gets in a certain spot da bar turn green... u know something like dat...

  and we need to seee wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more dunk animations... especially ones dat are powerfull and shake da rimm ... even missed dunk off da and 1... wee need to see flashy dunks ... even between da legs on breakaways cuz dat happens in real life once in a while .. fancy passes bring em back....lets see da rimm bend and contort after a dunk ...but not as dramatic as nba 09 (sony) more like in 2k... we would like to see players like jkidd doing no look passes .... i DONT WANA SEE lebron on a breakaway doing a soft dunk i need so see lebron on da power dunk and see da rim and back board reflect on the amount of power he dunked it...

  wen u see a blow by in a game u shud see reall speed .. not speed walking...

  this might sound critical but i have a question...

  in live 09 wat was the TURBO button for .. it really didnt have a difference

  i guess it just seemed like i was speed walking no real big difference..

  i need to see the speed of lebrons blow by... and wen am running up court...i want to b running upp court not speed walking please..i beg of you this is what i despise about live...

  i agree too boy 225 the turbo is kinda useless cause when ur running down court of defense and holding turbo your player shuffle his feet instead of turning around and actually running. that PISSES me off soooo bad.

  Boy225, I completely agree with you on player speed. It needs to be more individualized so that the fastest players in the league like Monta Ellis, LeBron ans so on show it on the court. I'm sure they will be able to tweak that. I also agree with the dunks. It was weird to see LeBron do his sig dunks (which are very powerful-looking actually) but not see the rim even budge. It just took away from the fun. But they mentioned they fixed the rim/net physics for shots/dunks, so I think we'll be pleased. :)

  Warrior-Three things I like from your post are..

  1. The whole, interest bar with Kobe example. I'm not sure if you played Madden for the Ps2, but in franchise mode, they had a bunch of different bars for players in free agency to drive their intentions of where to sign like "interest", "money", "team talent", "coaching staff" and many more. If they added that in Dynasty, that would make free agency much more interesting.

  2. In college football games, you can make signs that they show during games when they cut to a fan that has the sign you made. If we could do that, or have a create-a-fan feature like Madden had, that would be pretty cool.

  3. I wish they would bring freestyle superstars in the form of Dynamic DNA, because they could have those mindsets that drive the style like "inside stoppers" like Dwight Howard, as well as "outside scorers" like Iverson.
