NCAA Basketball 10 Demo

This week you're getting your first taste of NCAA Basketball 10 with the demo that is now out for those with XBOX LIVE Gold accounts. Those with Silver accounts will get the demo next week and finally PS3 owners will get their demo on the 19th of November . In the demo you will be able to re-enact the greatest rivalry in college basketball by taking control of either the North Carolina Tarheels or the Duke Blue Devils.


The demo will be played in Cameron Indoor Arena and it will be one five-minute half with the CBS Broadcast team calling the game. You will get your first taste of what to expect with the new broadcast integration features going into NCAA Basketball 10. There's new commentary as well as broadcast-style overlays and graphics just like you would see when you watch college basketball on CBS. The demo will also allow you to try out our new motion offense feature. Simply by pressing one button your teammates will get initiated into whatever offense you decide to run. It's never been easier to run a play than it is in NCAA Basketball 10.

    Has anyone noticed that the top 25 teams in the trailer had a lot of teams with loosing records? Some teams were as bad as 13-19. This means that the possibility of poor stat tracking is in the game

    Actually that means that those were just place holders.  That doesn't mean those teams are in the top 25....it was just a screenshot from a build and they filled it with teams...

    The demo was excellent!!!  It's all that you could hope for in a college basketball experience and I can't wait to get my copy on the 18th of this month.  This game is a bigger and better than last years version.  Maybe even better than 2k's old version.  EA has really outdone themselves.  I'm loving every little minutes of the demo even if it's just 5 minutes.  EA should've let us play it for at least 10 minutes instead of letting us wet the tip of tongues with that little demo.  But all in all it was excellent and I'd recommend it to people who are still playing 2k hoops 08.  It's okay now.  You can come out of the past and into the future of gaming.

    Tedstryker..i completly agree.thats the first thing i noticed..this has always been a problem with this franchise..how do have 13 losses and ur ranked 2nd in the nation..unrealistic..big problem needs to be fixed

    First the NBA Live patch took an extra wk...

    now we hear the day the demo comes out and ps3 owners find out we don't get the demo until the 19th. What is the deal w/Ea and Sony????

    EA, I hope that you've revamped the MCDonald's All-American game and have taken strides in making the recruiting process a little easier to navigate.  I know you can teak it to were it is somewhat similar to NCAA Football 10's recruiting setup.  Thanks for the demo.  I just can't get enough it.  I can't wait for this game to be avaliable for the XBOX.

    Listen up EA: This is THE DEV TEAM that I would like working on this title from now on. They hit the ball out of the park with this one. Finally, someone who knows about college basketball being involved in making a college basketball game that's enjoyable to play. I will finally make an investment in this series again after a five year absence. I went out today to pre-order my copy. I've never done that before on this title. I can't wait!!

    To my fellow college b-ball players: Remember that this is the first installment of this game by this DEV team, everything that you may want for this series realistically will not be in this one. But if we/EA will allow THIS DEV TEAM to continue developing this game... in three to four years from now I don't think we will have anything to complain about, especially given the sorry history of this francise. If you haven't played the demo yet but have played and enjoy NBA Live 10 then you're in for a real treat because the gameplay is almost identical. Now before you say that I'm in the tank for EA let me just say that I don't normally post comments on any website nor am I a brand loyalist. I can't stand to spend $62.99 on a game only to be disapointed and trading it in after one week of play, (ie...NCAA Football 10) So when I find a game that I envision myself playing well into the season until the next iteration comes out then you can take my word on it that this game is tight! See you online....Go Tarheels!!!

    I agree with nolesrock2003.  This is the Development team that needs to handle the NCAA Basketball title because they've done a great job with it so far.  Maybe in a couple of years they can take the game to brand new heights.  I've got NBA Live 10 and it's just a little bit better than LIVE 10.  The off the ball movement is amazing and the dribbling is just out of this world.  Let's just be real.  Your not going to please everyone.  Some people still love 2K8 College Basketball.  With today's graphics and gameplay that game is loosing a little of it's flavor too.   But, I don't agree with you on the NCAA Football 10.  It was excellent this year.  What didn't you like about it? I still have it and I don't think I'll trade it in.  I've traded in all my 09 game for sure.  They lacked everything!!!  From gameplay to graphics.  It was just a mess.

    Take it from the vet of NCAA franchises, this one's a fusion of 2K8 & MM, a hybrid if you will.  I went to 360 from PS2 in 2007, for MM because there was no online play.  Since then its been top ranking using my alma mater, Tennessee St.  The rosters are usually on point, but this versions gameplay looks to get more from the actual players, rather than user skills, or maybe I ain't practiced enough?  Anyways, both NCAA 10's ftball, bsktball are SUPERB! If we could only get more consistent pressure on the IMPACT QBs!  I'm sure there will be a update eventually, but SPIN cycle is no more, and it's not so easy to get into the lane, anymore.  ESPN and CBS on the SAME game is CRAZY!!  All I wanna know..is there some sort of Online Dynasty mode, Leagues, or do we get the Rivalries again on 10?
