The week is winding to a close and there are big college basketball match ups on the horizon, so once again we're here to bring you previews of big college basketball games you should all be looking forward to this weekend. Last week we saw Texas being unable to bounce back from their first defeat of the season and Kentucky, who earlier this week were crowned the No.1 spot, suffered their first defeat of the year so it will be interesting to see what happens with the match ups this weekend. To begin we'll take a look at Kentucky's match up against Vanderbilt.
(1) Kentucky are looking to bounce back after suffering their first defeat at the hands of South Carolina. They will take on (23) Vanderbilt on Saturday and if last weekend was any indication, if Kentucky don't come into this game with full focus they will lose this game against Vanderbilt. However, with the personnel that Kentucky have this season they should be able to win this game but of course anything can happen in college basketball.

This Saturday also sees another exciting match up with (2) Kansas taking on (13) Kansas State. K-State are playing great basketball this season and after taking down the previous No.1 in Texas they're looking to take down the next potential No.1 team, the Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks have been playing great as well and they are going to be the heavy favorites going into their game on K-State's home court. This could be the game to watch this whole weekend so if you only want to watch one game this should be the one you turn into.

Another match up that could rival or possibly top the "Battle of Kansas" could be (7) Duke taking on (11) Georgetown. Both teams play exciting basketball and are stepping out of conference play to take each other on. This should be a very exciting game to watch as they are almost evenly matched. Will this game be better than the "Battle of Kansas" remains to be seen.

Let us know which match up this weekend is the one to tune into by following the thread in the forums and letting us know what you think. There are some scintillating games to watch so if you're a college basketball be sure to tune in and enjoy. See you all again next week.
