Introducing the EA SPORTS Game Changers Program

Posted On: Feb. 10, 2010 11:37 AM EST By: Dewiel 34 Comments

EA SPORTS Game Changers Program Mission Statement

The Game Changer Award recognizes exceptional community leaders from around the world who use their knowledge of EA SPORTS games to improve the experience and overall growth of the EA SPORTS Community.

Game Changers are independent community members who are offered a close connection with people at EA SPORTS. To acknowledge Game Changers' leadership and provide a platform to help support their efforts, EA SPORTS often gives Game Changers early access to EA SPORTS games, as well as the opportunity to pass on their highly targeted feedback and recommendations about product design, development, and support.

Becoming an EA SPORTS Game Changer

Potential Game Changers are nominated by other community members, current Game Changers, and EA SPORTS personnel who have noted their leadership and their willingness and ability to help others make the most of their EA SPORTS experience.

Game Changers are independent of EA SPORTS, with separate opinions and perspectives, and are able to represent the views of the community members with whom they engage every day.

For those of you who are interested in becoming an EA SPORTS Game Changer, send your responses to the following questions to the gamechangers@ea.com for immediate consideration.

1.      Why do you want to be an EA SPORTS Game Changer?

2.      What would the EA SPORTS Game Changers program gain from having you as a member?

3.      What would the EA SPORTS Community gain from having you as a member of the EA SPORTS Game Changers program?

4.      What EA SPORTS games do you currently play?

5.      Is there anything else that you'd like us to consider when reviewing your application?

It's really good to see EA and all available sponsors jumping on board for this program.  I think this program launch will help recognize many of the friends and virtual athletes who are willing to go that "extra yard" to help newcomers and veterans alike in finding ways to advance and enhance the gaming experience.  Kudos to you all!

    [Note to Game Changers]

Serious suggestion - contrasting visual clarity/quality between players and objects near vs far is one thing, but don't make us all nearsighted!!! It is ridiculous for EVERYTHING farther than 3-feet away to be so blurred. Natural (normal) depth perception is NOT an extreme/exaggerated "rack-focus"... it's subtle.  Just look around you.

  • sidcrosby8787 said February 19, 2010
