The competition in October proved to be pretty fierce as the first full month of EASHL Season play saw familiar teams making a run for top spots on their respective consoles.

On the XBOX 360 side, it became apparent that in order to keep up, you were going to have to run a number of lines to get a lot games in while on the PS3 end, steady play and timely wins over top teams proved to be recipe for repeat success.

As we move forward with the new EA SPORTS Hockey League, the introduction of monthly seasons has caught fire in the community with teams vying for the monthly Championship Trophy along with the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals that are given out. 

Along with the bragging rights that come along with being the top team on each console, we would also like to give a regular shout out to the teams that earn the title of Season Champs and feature them here within the In the Crease blog.  On the PlayStation 3 side with a record of 149-12-4,  7 Bridges of Konigsberg took home the September Season title while on the XBOX 360 side with a record of 195-4-4,  Shammers Inc edged out other top teams to take the title.
