Hey it's Marcus, Producer on NBA LIVE 10. I'll be checking in each week to provide some context around the gameplay videos we'll be showing all of you. It's no secret that past LIVE's haven't lived up to expectations in this department, and we know how crucial it is for a basketball game, from an authenticity perspective, to have extremely realistic gameplay. We not only feel that this year, NBA LIVE has delivered in this area, but we've also innovated as well. More on this in the future.
For now, we wanted to show you a video of our new steals and hustle plays in NBA LIVE 10. Yes, if basketball games before us have had these, that's great, but we want to assure all of you that we're doing what it takes to get NBA LIVE's gameplay back to where it needs to be. In the past, we've heard complaints about our players lacking urgency, or looking "lazy" on the court. Well, in NBA LIVE 10, you'll see players diving for loose balls, gambling on a steal attempt, and trying to save balls from going out of bounds. We hope you get the idea of what we're trying to attempt in NBA LIVE 10, which we think, makes it a more authentic basketball experience.
