Like
many of you, I get pretty pumped up this time of year. The college
basketball season is reaching the point of conference tournaments and
that means that Selection Sunday is almost here. I love the suspense.
I love the upsets. I love the cameras pointed at a meeting room
somewhere at a small college as a team and its coaches wait to learn
their fate. Will they sneak in as a 12 seed? Or is it another year in
the N.I.T. So much drama. It's a sports fan's dream.
That brings us to this week's release of EA SPORTS NCAA Basketball 09: March Madness Edition.
Available exclusively for the Xbox 360, the game will be available for
download starting Tuesday the 11th. When you first download the game,
it will feature the teams from last year's tournament, but on March
18th you will be able to download the teams for this year's
tournament. When you make that download the teams will have the
updated rankings. You can find more information about it by clicking here.
But,
what would March Madness be without the great D Vitale?!? He's a
Hall of Famer. He's only got one energy level--HIGH. And he's the
voice and face of college basketball. Recently, Jason and Rob Thompson
of EA SPORTS World had a chance to talk to Mr. Vitale about the
upcoming tournament and who to keep an eye on. Check out the podcast
