I just tried the beta version for the mac.It was easy to use and I enjoyed it.I have several Tiger Woods golf games.I just bought a Mac and can't play them. Any idea when we can but the Tiger Woods on line.

EA has not developed a TW Mac version in years, if ever. They have historically farmed development of Mac versions to Mac developers, so they haven't abandoned anyone....

AS a mac user shame on EA, they abandoned us completely after saying that mac versions of their games were coming. Particularly shame on Tiger Woods 2008, half done and abandoned. You can download 2008 for PC from your shop but you can't download the Mac version, you have to order it from the Apple Store. The PC versions costs £5 to download and the mac version £39,00 and you have to wait 2 weeks...

As I said shame on you!!

And please don't tell me to buy a PC, don't insult me!

As a Mac user (and on a PowerPC based Mac, at that) who is still playing TW 2005 (no subsequent version has been available for PowerPC based Macs) I am quite excited about this news. Hopefully either I'll be accepted for the beta or a non-beta will be soon available. Thanks folks! Glad to see you haven't abandoned us Mac users.

One thing this will do is halt those that think they can make a profit out of illicet copies of the game, better for all concerned, we get the game they get the cash, second thing it will do is provide all us hardcore players with automatic updates, I have been hardcore for years and as I am on a disability pension, I tend to have more time to myself than most, which is why I have applied to do the 2nd beta test, If I get in great if I dont no problem, I will still look forward to the game when it arrives and I know a few of the testers, from years of friendships gained playing the game, As I play expert play, not very good compared to many, I still have years of experience with golf sims, the golf physics at expert level are great and make the game enjoyable if your good or not, if EA can improve the play and supply folks like myself with an Architect to make the customs, that will be even better, online play in 08 can be dodgy at the best of times, thats why they tell you the game experience can change , if I can go to the shop and get new character golfers, clothing and also have a season tour as well as a PGA tour that enables us to stay online without fear of boilding up disc points that stop me from playing tournaments, all the good, also their are those can at times will disconnect on purpose, or Advance or better players will go looking for an easy target to build up their profile by playing a novice match, or play a game with a straight line, I have seen players wip out a wedge and hit it 300 yards, if something can be done to stop this sought of caper, all the better.

The online play definatley has to change or this new game could be a disaster., no more disconnects, from EA servers or participating players.

If this is subscrip[tion based have you given any thought of payment types such as pay pal and maestro /solo cards as well as the major 4 credit cards because not every one owns a credit card but most people do use pay pal and debit cards.

Yes, we absolutely plan to have TrueSwing for launch and are sorting out the possibilities of clubs/groups for members.
