The main problem with the nba live games is the fundementals. Not the advances stuff added. I guarantee that no one is going to buy the game because you have recorded the arc shots of each player differntly. Although this might had to the overal feeling of the game, that is not as important as these features.

The general bugs:

Like help defences not stepping up early. Cursor change if your man gets beaten and the cursor button is press then select help defender in best position. When a shot is attempted contest shot in a logical way. Not jumping in a completely different direction, and for shot blockers use weaker hand when appropriate. Significantly reduce the success of players getting duck on. I dunk on the best shot blockers like four times a game but get block once every six games. Dunking on someone has lost its value.

When I am sprinting down the court with the ball, using a fast guard, then no slower players should not be able to keep up. Allow players to dive for loose balls. The rebounding system needs work. Players rarely box out and this leads to unrealistic offensive rebounds. Add more player movements but if player is driving make sure any weak side cut doesn’t get in the way of the person driving. When a player is near the three point line, the player shouldn’t step their foot on the line and covert three point into two. When enbounding the ball from the baseline allow the person to run with the ball instantly.

Change the commentary. We have heard the same commentary since NBA live 06. We need a completely new commentating.

The fast break motion needs to be done all again. You need players sprinting down the lanes giving efficient spacing. At the three point line, players that are control by the computer making cuts to the basket. Passes that lead the player to the basket, not passes that put our player in triple threat when on one guarding them. Also make sure the passes are quick and the right passes is chosen to the right player allowing maximum success. (Fast break is the most exciting part of basketball, taking that away kills the game.)

The contact system needs work. Also allow big strong player like Lebron James to muscle his way past his defender. In the post allow Dwight Howard to just muscle his way to the basket. More collision animations/hard fouls that guarantee no shot will get off/basket will be made. Too easy for players to run up court and press the lay-up button at the three-point line and waltz right through for the easy score. Weight should also be a factor.

Smoother gameplay; better transitions from animation to animation. Add more animations however make sure animation can be cut in the middle (that’s nba 2k10 biggest problem). Better passing animations. Players should be able to catch a pass on the run (if need be). Big block animations. For the Dwight Howard’s and the Josh Smith's On the fast-break if the player is in the right position they can come from behind for the huge rejection. If not done right can be a huge foul (that could be a real big momentum boost).

Better height realisation. i.e. No Allen Iverson blocking Tracy McGrady. If their is a mismatch that should be exploited.

Bring back the ability to change the shot in mid-air by pressing the dunk/lay-up button to avoid the block.

I know this is long but if all these features are added to the next nba live it would be the best basketball game in the market.

ea i like the finals presentation now,but have a better one for the regular games.

put the cheerleaders back in right before the players come out in the finals,have a longer presentation,it will be worth it.what ever happened to the arena being dark then they put the spotlight on the players as the announcer says their names.

have the summer league in dynasty.

i think if a east coast team travels to the west coast vice versa,the fatigue should drop a little because of the long flight.

i would like to see if players retire ,they try to become coaches sometimes.

size should matter in this game.

marcus,i hope you read all the other ideas i had and put them in because it will make the game great in some parts.

I don't blame the EA team for not posting any more blogs on the topic. It's ok when people are talking about the game and the enhancements or the changes to features. Or the ability to further explain the DNA such as this blog had done. However every time I look up there is another person slamming someone for being stupid for thinking Dwayne Wade isn't the best player, or that Lebron should have been on the cover. Arguing about different players and calling names is the dumbest thing anyone could do. Also to those that come on here and are obvious 2K fans. CUT IT OUT. Look I played 2K9 as my primary basketball game this year, and it wasn't all that special. It was a good game, decent graphics, good animations (not spot on), but wasn't the greatest game ever made. It's ok to compare and say you think 2K is better, but to blast the message board with your idiocy on an NBA Live board is flat out ignorant. Grow up get a brain and contribute or get out.

EA, I hope that you will reconsider dropping the NBA Live 10 updates. I would love to start getting more information on this game and am hoping that it can be a true to life sim of the sport. I would love to play this game instead of 2K as that game feels dated and is hard to feel like you are in control.

As for flameboy up here, I am truly starting to conclude that his antics are paid for because of the fear that this game is already better than the upcoming 2K. Even some 2K loyalists have abandoned ship because the game hasn't really changed much over the last few years. Personally, I like 2K...but I also like EA. I don't pick sides. I just want great products, in the end.

Listening to the interview, the interviewer said early on that EA has tackled a lot of the bigger issues "in January". Now, I take that with a grain of salt but that does add to what many of the devs and the producers have already said about Live 10 being "amazingly" better than Live 09, even at this stage, that the game is vastly different from before. I don't think EA would be talking this much if they truly didn't feel confident in their product, just like with Madden 10. They would lose A LOT of consumers if they blew all this smoke and didn't come through. We'll see.

A. While your ideas are good, I have to say this...Why do people feel they have to say things like "improve gameplay, graphics, movement, fans, glitches, realism, etc"? I just wanna scream "NO S**T!!!! lol

B.Your saying these ideas will help Live get to 2k's level, when half of your ideas aren't even in 2k to begin with.

C. Live producers have already mentioned that they have seen the Czar's vids, and that his scores will be much more different this year. So the point is that they are actually listening to us, and are aware of where they need to improve.

D. Why are you bashing on Live for not having things like halftime shows when 2k doesn't have one either? And Live does play music throughout the game, so I am confused about that.

E. There isnt a single difference in presentation from regular season to the playoffs in 2k either, although at least in Live the crowd wears more white for the home team, even the Czar mentioned that. And from the short vids I saw of Live 10, the crowd/atmosphere looks good.

F. The producers already said that they removed all of the crossovers from 09 and made new ones, as well as adding other signature stuff.

G. If your mentioning these ideas for both 2k and Live to add this year, then they are good ideas. But the vibe I am getting is that you think all of the stuff you mentioned is already in 2k, which isn't the case for the most part.

H. We *CANNOT* hold the current Live team for past games that they weren't a part of. I am VERY glad that they are so active on the forums and sites talking to us and listening to us while 2k seems to hide in the shadows until the very last minute. Not to say 2k10 will be bad, but why not keep in touch with the customers? Madden got a new development team, and I think this year it showed more than ever.

Why do they wipe their shoes off so much? My guys will wipe their shoes while the other team will sprint past them...

I read some comments on here and saw that their is a huge difference in what people want in Live 10. I don't really care about shoes...flexing...music..etc..

I just want a realistic fatigue meter for a 5 min qtr....out of bounds lines on the baseline...a true 3 second count...full court lobs that don't connect 98% of the time...Kobe/Wade/Lebron maybe miss a shot when they are double or triple teamed...the more quickstrikes you do the more you fatigue.

Why can Yao Ming stand at the top of the key and QUICKSTRIKE his way down to the cup? My guards can't steal the ball from him? He doesn't dribble it off his foot? You'd think he is Chris Paul the way he handles the ball

2k10kobe24 - I'm coming to you in a mature manner. Please respect this and understand that your tirades, attacks and uber negative posts are not called for. Yes, Live hasn't been "as good" overall as the 2K series. Understand that BOTH games have flaws.

2K does a lot more right but Live has a better post game, play calling system with on court diagrams and the ability to call plays for individuals on your team whether they have the ball or not, the ability to call pick and roll/fade/pop on the fly and intuitively, better use of the second analog (imo. I prefer to do moves than shoot with the analog. Plus u get a jumpshot and a dunk/layup button), and, honestly, imo, Live just feels more like basketball (yes, I play basketball almost daily), control wise, overall, even if the controls aren't as responsive as they could be.

Although a lot of what u have said can be applied, we're also talking past tense because the new b-ball iterations have yet to come out. This blog is to talk about what EA is doing with Live 10, not Live 09 or 08. They are going forward, acknowledging their past mistakes and giving us bit by bit of how they are improving on the game for this year, just like they have done with Madden 10.

If you want to be constructive in your criticisms, fine, that's what EA wants, NOT yelling and screaming through caps, being insanely harsh and attacking others. Your more constructive post was cool. I liked that but the other ones, sheesh. Keep it like that last post u made where u said u are actually trying to help because before, u definitely were not being helpful.

I think that on the game menu,it should have highlights of the 08-09 season from the stars of all 30 teams.

Have some air ball shots.

Make the player’s muscles flex.

Have some teams make trades just for cap room.

Fix the headband glitch when you put it on a fake player with braids.

Have a tutorial you can play.

I would love to see created players have their own shooting form.

Let us be able to recreate stadiums.

Have game speed because I would like to play 12 min quarters with realistic scores.

Let their be trades between the rookies in the draft. example: kobe got traded for vlade divac a while back.

Let the all-star weekend be held in different arenas.

Let us make players go on diets or gain weight in dynasty.

Have something called live moments and it will be just like madden’s madden moments where you play in memorable comeback games.

Maybe you have a SIM setting and an arcade setting for players online?

I get tired of players that just lob the ball to a running star for a dunk along the baselines.

For all over the work you guys did on DNA, playbook, etc I am not sure how many people use it. I play alot online and out 300+ games maybe 10 people have run plays and used the pick/roll system.

I'll run a play..set screens..whatever..I score..and I have to sprint back to defend the guy who just lobs the ball to sprinting Kobe as he heads for the baseline for the dunk over 3 defenders.

To me a guy who wants to play ball and not some cheese fest, how will Live 10 improve this type of stuff? I know you have to sell games and I am sure they ave gamer rather run Kobe in a circle till he hits the sweet spot in the paint to dunk/lay up but...C'mon. You might as well just have Cleveland and Lakers with everyone with 99 ratings and unlimited fatigue to play online with.

The guy who learns the game and plays it right shouldn't have to play error free for 20 mins while some NOOB can just cheese it up and make the game close.

Just my rants...

I am sure people will pile on ...but if you play alot online you know what I am talking about

What I left out in that last post is that Live 09 excels in some ways that 2k9 doesn't. In terms of dunks, I have never seen a player use signature dunks like LeBron's tomahawks, except for LeBron himself. They have sig dunk packages just like 2k. I'm not sure what you mean by sig layups. There aren't any distinct layups that only Wade or Kobe does...And I have seen many players in 2k that use the same layup/dunk animations.

Regarding Live's fans, thats last years models. I have seen vids for this years game and they are greatly improved with signs in the crowds as well as waving towels. With passing, I believe I heard they added sig passing animations like they had for Live a couple years ago on last gen. I don't think the dunks look fake at all. 2k has some nice dunks, but you and I know that almost every single one of them GOES THROUGH THE RIM, NOT OVER IT. That is one of my biggest pet peeves with that game, considering in the Garnett commercial for 2k9, it looked like they fixed that problem, but they didn't.

Other things I dont like about 2k is how on the higher difficulties, every point guard plays like John Stockton and sets a franchise record for assists every game, half of them being alley oops which are near indefensible. There is almost no interior defense, once the CPU passes the ball in the paint, it's over. When playing defense, the player your controlling scuttles left to right like a crab which just looks weird. And despite changing the settings, the game seems to be a dunkfest, and the cpu seems to shoot around 60% every game.

So let's be honest, both games have their flaws. But I don't want to add anymore unnecessary content for this blog. If you want to email me, I would be happy to talk pros/cons for both games, but as adults instead of trying to bash each others games.

2k10kobe24- I wish you would stop with the 2k promotion. Everyone knows about your game, it's not like it came out yesterday. I have both games, and to say EITHER of these games suck is going too far. I honestly like 2k9, it excels in some areas that Live 09 doesn't.

But if you ask me, *Live 10* has more upside than 2k. This blog is about NBA LIVE *10*, not Live 09. We don't care about comparisons for games that will be outdated in a couple months. This is for constructive ideas to better a game. You said that Wade is the best player in the league *in your opinion*, and everyone else had to deal with it. Something I've always wanted in a basketball game is the correct use of the "Clutch Factor". And I don't mean some rating that just makes the player better or worse at making jump shots, I want a whole system devoted to making the last 5 minutes of a game REALLY different. Clutch Factor should have many things to it like Late Game Fouling and Free throw shooting. If a player has a great clutch factor rating teams should find away to neutralize it, like Hedo Turkoglu who is a great clutch shooter, winning several close games for the Magic but when it came down to making clutch free throws he folded. And of course there are the Freaks of the NBA that can do them both greatly, Kobe,AI,Billups, ETC. Also you don't have to be a great player to be clutch. Like a Rob Horry, who was solid at best and never considered a superstar but was maybe the best clutch shooter of our time(next to MJ of course). The clutch factor should not just be limited to offense it should be defensive aswell. We've all been playing live and its the last 3 seconds and the computer/friend pulls up with some bench player and drains a last second jumper in your face. Well I'm not saying it wasn't luck but if I have a "lock down" defender on a noname my lock down defender should have the advantage like in real life. Sure you could just throw up a prayer and hope it goes in and maybe make it but that's not my beef. My beef is when Devin (a lot of you are saying "who?" which is my point) does a crossover move on Ron Artests and puts up a shot over Yao with his hand in his mug and gets a game winning layup or calmly knocks down a 20ft jumper to sink the game. Not really gonna happen, I just want clutch factor to kick in and have Ron's lock down ability get a boost to make Devin throw up a hail marry. Which would lead to a more fair out come in late games.

*Im glad yall are doing an overhaul on the graphics even though they still looked better than 2k its like everybody was squinting their eyes or having their face smushed in a lil bit.

*Can yall adjust the quickness for the players. ie. wade can change directions with his crossover in a split second and blow by any defender. Basically the players who have a quick crossover should be able to break down the defender easier than other players cause in live 09 everybody has the same crossover speed and it shouldn't be like that.

*My question for you EA_MarcusStephenson how do you think the physics engine would work in a basketball game? Would it make the game more realistic? b/c then the in air collision would seem more real and the bumping each other when setting picks. I think it would also take away the ice skating and warping when going for a dunk. Players would probably do a realistic take-off.

*Have yall thought about incorporating that into live 10 or live 11,12 etc.

*Is the dynamic dna going to be used for defense also instead of only showing us how good a player is on offense. I think it should b/c there are players in the nba who are known for their defense. (ie. Ron Artest) I hope so cause then i would actually set my defensive matchups so my best defender can guard the other teams best player.

*Can yall put in Adaptive AI like madden and fight night is doing so the computer is smarter and adjust to what we are doing and how we play cause in live 09 the computer is waaaay to easy even on superstar level. Thats one reason I cant never finish my dynasty. It's no challenge.

*Along with that can yall add like another skill level above superstar for people like me who plays live alot and need a bigger challenge?

YOUNGTUNE-I love D Wade man. But to say he is BETTER than LeBron/Kobe is a little much. Lebron avg. over 40 points in that Magic series, pretty good IMO. And Wade's 50 meant nothing because half the game was against back-ups, and the Heat still got beat badly in that game. They only kept him in the game to get the milestone. I will be buying NBA Live this year, eventhough that 2k10 collectors edition looks brilliant with my boy KB24 on the cover, uggh, why does 2k get back to back champions on there covers and NBA live gets also rans? EA sleeps in money, 2k is staying alive with there NBA series alone, I don't get it, let's start with some simple fixes, at least they appear simple that would greatly improve my experience...

1. EA game lobbies for the PC are simple, yet brilliant, I'd love to see them used for the PS3 version I have no idea how it appears in 360 can't comment there. Everything is right there player profiles, gamematching, chat room, connections strength, just a brillaint lobby. The rating system as well is brilliant Improvements: Newer avatars, color choice background.

2. NBA Live 09 had Tony Parker as their cover guy, great for Tony, but why does he have to be all over the inside of the game itself? His big old head front and center. Couldn't we have a team page and select a player to be represented in the background in a video, how cool would that be. I'm a Laker fan what if I wanted to select a Laker home page with Pau or Artest as my background video on my team page.

3. Someone has gotta stop the forced dunk and lay-up guy, we can't stop them, so the CPU has to make those plays harder somehow.

4. NBA Live for PC...2004, 2005, 2006 all made defense as important as offense, now you can't play defense like that anymore, can we bring that back? Without defense it's not basketball to me.

let's try to be productive you guys. people can disagree, but can we please just discuss the games and not get into one-on-one battle of words here?

i've been a nba 2k player for the past couple years mostly because i've been listening to the critics and general public. i definitely don't think that 2k is a perfect game- not even close. the presentation is nice and the realism is okay. i haven't played live much aside from the demos, but i'll tell you my biggest beef from 2k. i feel like the game play is very scripted and stiff. there are too many canned animations that take more than a couple seconds to get out of. it's somewhat unresponsive, and even things like dribbling to a spot on the court are more difficult than they should be. my point is this: it looks nice to have a lot of canned animations because it makes things look more realistic, but i feel like there's too much of a compromise in control. if there's anything that Live should take out of that, it's the fact that control and responsiveness are more important than longer, more realistic animations in my opinion. it'd be great to do something like more branching animations like Madden is doing or the layered animations so that you get fluid control while still preserving realism and on-screen aesthetics.

one more thing Slavemaster's idea for the clutch factor sounded really good and I think it would be a great thing to implement into the game if time allows

And I agree with whoever said a Legend team would be awesome! I think that would be really cool with MJ and Larry Bird and Magic Jonhson and all the other big time all stars, but I think you should make a team from the 80s, the 90s, etc. , plus one team with the stars from all-time.

Please add a team creator feature similar to maddens or something that was a good system then later on we can add our players created to that team. Please look at Maddens team creator system that is a really good system

Last thing,. I think tht you should improve hairstyles in the player creator please they are players with different hairstyles already in the game so why not add them in player creator?

lol do you guys seriously think Wade is the best player in the NBA? By the way the scoring thing is different. Wade also leads the league in possessions and having the ball in his hands and is high in the rankings of Turnovers and minutes so per-minute or per-possesion, LeBron and Kobe are much better they just have a good supporting cast unlike Wade.

after playing nba 2k9 its a few things that impressed me! for instance during the jumpball the ref actually tosses the ball up! during fast breaks the ref is running down the court with the teams an its always different refs in different stadiums!! the crowd is more realistic some cheering some sitting some booing it all depends on which team they're cheering for impressed with the graphics and gameplay!! 2k brought it with nba 2k9.from the players'tattoos,to the way stats are presented they really nailed it and made it seem real!!http://vimeo.com/2127861

in dynasty have a news slider like on espn.talk about the trade rumors etc...

tell us who will play in the fiba world championship in dynasty.(not that important)

lets see some swim moves and stuff when players set up for the post up.

improve the and 1 animations.

it would be cool to see the players using their towels.

at the end of games have a post game show with an option to skip it.

if the game is sent to overtime,show the very last play that led to it.(in slow motion)

if i traded a player and i start a game,please let the announcers talk about the trade and the benefits from it.

in the finals,have the trophy at midcourt with the teams logo.also have the trophy on the right side of the player's jerseys and have it on the basketball hoop's stem where the padding is.(i saw all of this while i was watching replays of the finals today on nba TV.)

last thing,you should go madden 10's way and overhaul the dynasty mode menu.

Ralfh23 first of all they shouldn't add lebron james dunking from the free throw line. That will just make the game just unrealistic and stupid. come on now really..they already do that in live 09 and it's the stupidest thing ever when you can catch the ball at the free throw line and press x and your man will lay up or dunk from the free throw line without running. Thats one of the things that is going to get fixed for live 10. DUDE NOT REALISTIC AL ALL. If you want to see stuff like that go pick up nba street. Im pretty sure me and everybody else who plays live want the most authentic basketball game ever. that means nothing but REALISTIC STUFF.

And the under-the-hood stuff with Synergy, that's what is pretty huge and it's something we could never do at 2K. That's why I'm so excited about Live.

Marcus - Having played the Live 09 demo a few times, last night, it reminded me of some of the things I disliked about the demo that were still there from Live 08, which I bought and played the most. Here are a few things I can remember off the top of my head from last night, which most likely have already been mentioned, and I'm pretty sure Mike Wang has had u guys playing and studying 2K as a reference point to get ideas on how to improve Live (I do have a friend with Live 09 so he is a bit of my reference point to the actual game):

1. Controls - I just can't reiterate enough how the responsiveness needs to improve greatly. Shooting usually works well although pump fakes need to be fixed, which has been a Live issue for YEARS where u pump fake, sometimes, and the player actually shoots. Steals and jumping don't work very well. Delays between the button press and the action and sometimes it just doesn't do the action, AT ALL.

2. Player movement/animations - Real stiff and clunky, at times. The canned animations toward the basket are decent but just regular movement of the players are wonky, at best. Needs more organic movements.

3. Steals - Stiff. Nice addition with the canned animation of trying to reach around a player to steal the ball but it has to be triggered up close, most of the time, and u just can't reach for the steal while on the move. Also, the steal attempts need to be more contextual to the player the steal is being attempted on. 2K9 does a pretty great job of that (I especially love the surprise steal from behind when a player thinks he has an easy dunk or layup). This definitely needs to be greatly improved for Live...definitely.

4. Blocks/Jumping - Again, stiff. Guys literally launch themselves in the air from a standing position to try to block a player's shot who is 10 feet away with NO running animation toward the player, at times, and even if u are on the move, the jump looks stiff, anyway, and the block attempt lacks (Kobe's running block animation in Live 10 looked good, though). Same with rebounding so I won't add a rebounding bullet point.

5. Free throw system - I don't like the meter deal. I know u guys changed it from the antiquated T system but the new one isn't any better. I actually like 2K's analog free throw shooting. I disliked it at first because it was tough to figure out the correct release point for each player on my team and there was no free throw practice but trial by fire worked out and I learned the timing of all my Nets, even with Boone's wonky free throw style. Basically, take 2K's free throw system.

6. Crowd - The crowd actually looks great but the animation of it looks like it is stuck in molasses a bit or something. Really weird but I cannot complain about the look. Fairly varied character models but there needs to be people with team jerseys on. Also they need to respond properly to the on court action. I watched the sneak peek of Live 10 on ESPN with Blake Griffin in the game and I can't recall if some in the crowd had on jerseys. I do remember people holding signs. Nice touch.

7. Lack of player model emotion - I know you try to convey this through pre-filmed cut scenes but I wanna see it more so displayed through the on court character models and if there are cut scenes.

8. Stadiums/Arenas - It looks like this is already being addressed by the looks of the Lebron photo. Hopefully the lighting and all that will come into play along with what the stadiums/arenas actually look like.

9. Presentation - Needs TV style slickness

That's about it, for now. I know u guys will go hard and improve on these things and come up with some of more goodness. I do need to get my hands on the actual Live 09 game, though.

The more I think of how DNA can affect this game (didn't get Live 09), the more I dig this. I mean, I dug it before when they talked about it being implemented in Live 09 but the demo made me side with 2K9, mainly because of the control issues, or consistent lack there of with the responsiveness. Not to say that 2K9 is perfect control wise, because like I have said in the past, the last two Lives have "felt" more like real basketball than 2K plus there is a lot done better in Live than 2K. 2K is more about animations and the small things, visually.

That being said, reading this, finally, tonite (just ignored it yesterday cuz I didn't really wanna read about DNA, again), it excited me enough to bust out the Live 09 demo, again. I did try to rent the actual game at Blockbuster the other week but no dice - The one near me doesn't have it, anymore.

Marcus, I think I'm 100% with u guys, this year. Just finished up 2K9 and won the title with my lowly Nets (On Superstar, Carter got hurt for the rest of the playoffs in my previous playoff series and Houston gave me a TOUGH time in the Finals yet I "squeeked by" winning 4-1. LOTS of come backs, except game 5 which I blew them out, somehow, all the way through). I can't say whether I will grab 2K10 but I can almost say I will get Live 10 because I see how you guys are really trying to attack this year's version and I actually believe the end product will be great. Kudos.

Once again thanks EA for the sneak peek at the ratings, gotta love this internet. Warrior I agree 100% on every change you said, and I have a few of my own.

1. Would love to see a blocking system that is REALISTIC and easy to use(no press Y button and dude jumps from baseline to baseline and perfectly blocks shot) I want it so you can have partial blocks and pinned on glass blocks like in real life. I want the ball suspended in air waiting for you to put a paw up there and either swat it, tip it, miss it,or pin it. I don't want the player's hand to go straight to the ball and make a perfect crisp clean block every time.

2. Something I've always wanted in a basketball game is the correct use of the "Clutch Factor". And I don't mean some rating that just makes the player better or worse at making jump shots, I want a whole system devoted to making the last 5 minutes of a game REALLY different. Clutch Factor should have many things to it like Late Game Fouling and Free throw shooting. If a player has a great clutch factor rating teams should find away to neutralize it, like Hedo Turkoglu who is a great clutch shooter, winning several close games for the Magic but when it came down to making clutch free throws he folded. And of course there are the Freaks of the NBA that can do them both greatly, Kobe,AI,Billups, ETC. Also you don't have to be a great player to be clutch. Like a Rob Horry, who was solid at best and never considered a superstar but was maybe the best clutch shooter of our time(next to MJ of course). The clutch factor should not just be limited to offense it should be defensive aswell. We've all been playing live and its the last 3 seconds and the computer/friend pulls up with some bench player and drains a last second jumper in your face. Well I'm not saying it wasn't luck but if I have a "lock down" defender on a noname my lock down defender should have the advantage like in real life. Sure you could just throw up a prayer and hope it goes in and maybe make it but that's not my beef. My beef is when Devin (a lot of you are saying "who?" which is my point) does a crossover move on Ron Artests and puts up a shot over Yao with his hand in his mug and gets a game winning layup or calmly knocks down a 20ft jumper to sink the game. Not really gonna happen, I just want clutch factor to kick in and have Ron's lock down ability get a boost to make Devin throw up a hail marry. Which would lead to a more fair out come in late games.

Ok EA I've rambled on enough thanks for the ratings and can't wait for the other updates and fun stuff. This NBA Live 10 staff is the "Redeem Team" trying to get back the best basketball video game gold. Good Luck EA =D

Thabeet was defensive minded not a scorer, but when you say the names of big men like DeJuan Blair, Earl Clark, Jeff Adrein, Sam Young, Greg Monroe, Samardo Samuels, and so on. I think that on the game menu,it should have highlights of the 08-09 season from the stars of all 30 teams.

Have some air ball shots.

Make the player’s muscles flex.

Have some teams make trades just for cap room.

Fix the headband glitch when you put it on a fake player with braids.

Have a tutorial you can play.

I would love to see created players have their own shooting form.

Let us be able to recreate stadiums.

Have game speed because I would like to play 12 min quarters with realistic scores.

Let their be trades between the rookies in the draft. example: kobe got traded for vlade divac a while back.

Let the all-star weekend be held in different arenas.

Let us make players go on diets or gain weight in dynasty.

Have something called live moments and it will be just like madden’s madden moments where you play in memorable comeback games.

if i tell tony parker "work on your outside shot"he should have a work ethic rating to determine if he progresses in that or not.

also let age matter with the progression.

if kobe plays till he is 40 in dynasty,we shouldn't see him dunking on people like when he was young.

have career ending injuries.

also make the coaches rating effect what the players do.

let us be able to change head coaches and please have some retire.

in trades let there be cash considerations.
